Thanks for watching, everyone! I love checking out other people's shop tour videos-there’s always something inspiring about how they set things up or what they’ve done. Hopefully, I can do the same for you. It’s been a long journey, and the shop’s still a work in progress!
GREAT shop! Definitely a dream of mine. One suggestion. Find a local high school that has a wood shop class and donate all those off cuts. I did this and the shop teacher was elated! I’ve seen so many projects come to life with wood that would otherwise be taking up space in my shop. Bonus is he talked the school district in to giving me proof of the donation to use as a tax deduction.
Great shop and great shop tour! I would recommend building a set of long stairs in front of the 3D printer station, with long storage just like the plywood rack. 7:23
Thank you! I actually talked about very similar long storage type platform in that video. I chose the step ladder idea for convenience and space savings. It’s a great idea though!👍🏻
As far as the 19/38 goes.. the most useful accessory for that is absolutely the DRO. Highly recommend installing it on the machine. Makes sanding to a specific thickness a BREEZE! The tables are a nice have and if your budget allows get them too
I’ve got my eye on the DRO, I think that would make a huge difference. The factory thickness setting seems a little goofy to me. I’m also definitely ordering the in-feed and out-feed tables. They didn’t have any in stock at woodcraft when I bought my 19-38. Also I’m glad you’re liking the timer for your clear vue. I’ve enjoyed it as well. Thanks for watching and commenting, it’s always nice seeing familiar faces in the comment section. 👊🏻
Well done! Some innovative and creative shop projects! Subscribed and keep warm over there. Chased a girl up to Yakima 30 years ago and spent the coldest winter of my life there! Eastern WA winters are no joke!
I truly enjoy watching your content. I have been watching you for a couple of years and you are good at “teaching” the why’s to what your methods are and I appreciate you sharing this logic. I do not have a 3D printer but would be interested in purchasing the overarm dust collection hood if you plan on printing the pieces. I just got my new Oneida V system installed and I went large just for that reason.
I truly appreciate your comment. The fact that you have stuck around for a couple years means a lot. My videos have definitely been a work in progress and have always been my weak point. I’m always striving to be better with my production. Thank you so much for the support and sticking around! Don’t ever hesitate to reach out with questions or to bounce ideas around. I’m always game to talk woodshop, or anything for that matter. 🤣 Thank you! Rob👊🏻
Great looking shop~!! This was the first video of yours I've seen and I'm definitely going back to see your previous content posts. Those columns are something that I've been wanting to incorporate into my workshop...a 30'x40' pole barn. I don't have a ceiling below the roof, so the trusses (spaced 10') will have to work for anchoring the columns. I have Jay Bates' plans for his miter station, which is something that I desperately need to get started on...too much clutter on my horizontal surfaces due to lack of cabinets/storage. I also really like your sheet goods storage and 3D printer stage~! Another idea that I might need to borrow. Thanks for sharing the tour~!
Thanks for watching and commenting Andrew! The columns have been awesome! I had so many people tell me I was wasting space and blah blah, but I love having them. The 3D printer enclosure was a game changer, especially in a wood shop!
This looks like the perfect sized shop. Great spot for your printers. Having climate control beats having to keep an eye on the filament and baking at low temp if too humid. I'm really interested in the assembly table build and joined the channel for that and your 3D printing stuff. I'm planning a multipurpose table with the match fit system as well.
Thanks man, the 3d print enclosure has been great. The assembly table was a fun project, and if you haven’t used the match fit system yet, you’ll love it. Thanks for the sub and taking the time to comment. 👊🏻
I absolutely love the Clear Vue auto timer mod that you turned me on to. No more wondering if the machine has run the recommended 15 minutes or not and the emergency cut off switch gets used when Im making quick cuts where the Dust collector only runs for less than a minute. (in my opinion not enough time to heat up the motor)
It's great to see the workshop is going strong and that you still continue to use the shower door sealer strips on the 3d printing station. Rob the strangest thing about your shop and mine is there's so many similarities. I.e the workbench is exactly the same as mine🧐, i still haven't installed any vices whatsoever 🤔, the cnc i purchased i managed to build it a year ago. I only played around with it once when I built it. Unfortunately, this past year has been a crappy one due to heart issues and other sodding issues, nomatter what I intend to be doing something with it after Christmas for sure, as i hate wasting money 🤣😂. That said I hope that you and the family have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy Newyear and i look forward to seeing what you manage to achieve going forward with your workshop 🙏. As always brother 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.
Hey Simon always good to hear from you! I need to finish the dang workbench! 😂the cnc has been a fun thing to learn, I’ve had a lot of late nights and screw-ups for sure.🤣 I hope your health gets better and you can start using that CNC. you and your family have a merry Christmas, and a happy new year as well. 👊🏻
@brewbuilds thanks, yeah that's why I don't want to permanently attach anything yet except the one long wall I'm going to put some cabinets and work bench. Then the short wall next to the garage door will definitely be for easy access to wood storage.
@Mostviews111 it’s definitely a long process. I got the analysis paralysis pretty bad during my setup and couldn’t make a decision to save my life. But eventually started moving on it. I don’t think a shop will ever be perfect and there’s always things you’ll want to change. 😂
What are you talking about?😂 Nothing is for sale this my personal home woodshop. There was no mention of my wife or her buying this in any part of this 20min video. 🤣

I constantly refresh my TH-cam homepage hoping for a new Brewbuilds video.
Don’t lie to me Kip! 😂

Nice looking shop!
Great shop. Thanks for sharing
thank you Jim, and thanks for watching!👊🏼

Yakima.... been there many times doing training at YTC or Yakistan as we called it. Winters were not fun at all.
Thanks man! I haven’t been to Yakima since I was a kid, but we do get some cold winters. Thanks for the sub and watching!👊🏻

Great walkthrough of your evolving shop. Impressive and inspiring.
@@blackwing2607 hey Bill! Thanks for watching, it’s been a long journey. 👊🏻
Did you get all your dust hood parts printed?

Great shop. Lots of space.
Thank you Angie! It’s filling up fast!😂

I have "shop envy" 😂 nice video Rob
Thanks bud! This shop consumes my life. 😂
And why am I watching this?! To dream?… oh ya, to Dream… 😅😂 Very nice Sir!
😂 it all comes with a cost, my better half has hinted at a solo “cot build video” 😬😂
@ oh hell!!! Seen that coming! 😂😅
@kimberwest7304 real meaning of the video… send help! 😂
What are your approximate shop dimensions? Looks bigger than a 2 car garage but not ridiculous. Seems like a good size to me 👍
30x40 with a 10’ceiling.
What are the dimensions of your shop? Looks like a comfortable and enjoyable place to work in.
It’s 30x40 with a 10’ ceiling.
Thanks!
You bet, thanks for watching! 👊🏻
HEY MAN!
What’s up dude! 👊🏻
Very nice
Thank you 👊🏻
What color paint did you use?
It’s Behr imperial gray. 👍🏻
@brewbuilds awesome shop just built a 30x54x16 and I'm trying to get some inspiration on layout before I permanently install things.
@Mostviews111 I’m jealous, that’s a good size! I feel like it took me a good couple of years of using my shop to really find a natural flow for me.
@brewbuilds thanks, yeah that's why I don't want to permanently attach anything yet except the one long wall I'm going to put some cabinets and work bench. Then the short wall next to the garage door will definitely be for easy access to wood storage.

either you are an owner of the company or sales rep!!!! So I highly doubt your wife bought you this. A Lie. I don't buy from liers!!!!!!!
