Can a non-changing thing be reduced to a changing thing? Can a soul be reduced to a person? Can being be reduced to doing or doing reduced to being? Can form tell us function or function tell us form? Is knowledge the absence of ignorance or the presence of ignorance? Does any being have any non-contingent relationship with Nature? What is that essence? Gene or will or soul?
