Thanks for sharing, I haven't been down the Charles river because I wasn't familiar with the locks. Do you need to call the locks or do you just pull up and wait? Same for the lift-bridge, did you need to dial-in or call ahead?

Thanks for commenting! It's two long beeps, followed by two short beeps, if I remember correctly, to get the locks to open. Bridges can be reached on VHF radio 13. The train bridge is closed during rush hours. For more information: www.charlesriverallianceofboaters.org/docs/Power_Boat_Advisory.pdf
