Background on prayer: In the Vatopedi Monastery on Mount Athos in Greece, there is a Holy Icon of the Mother of God called "The Queen of All" (in Greek "Pantanassa"). This icon has a special grace that has been given by God to heal the dreadful illness of cancer.

To anyone reading this, please pray for a young boy named Harry. He is in elementary school and for some time had been winning in his fight against cancer, but things have taken a turn. Lord have mercy and grant him healing. Thank you for this video that we can pray along with it.

O Lord our God, Who by a word alone did heal all diseases, Who did cure the kinswoman of Peter, You Who chastise with pity and heal according to Your goodness; Who are able to put aside every sickness and infirmity, do You Yourself, the same Lord, grant aid to Your servant Harry and cure him of every sickness of which he is grieved; and send down upon him Your great mercy, and if it be Your will, give to him health and a complete recovery; for You are the Physician of our souls and bodies, and to You do we send up Glory: to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Both now and forever, and to the ages of ages. I bought this icon for my stepmother who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and passed away in March of 2022.
I inherited it and put it on my bookshelf last year.
This year I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and have started saying the Akathist with this.
