    Really cool!!!! Makes me wonder about creating a WiFi network for a community and possibly getting off of the major carriers.

    Thanks for the great video. I was wondering how much further my wifi extender would allow me to fly my hubsan drone. Now I know that it does work and have an idea as to the distance I can go.

    I tried this before but my drone flew away as soon as I launched it, it was a cheap drone though so i can't say that it was definitely the extenders fault

    Hello !! I would like to purchase the solar powered WiFi extender that u tested in this video but cannot seem to locate the part # within your details. I am willing to purchase these items through you to compensate yourself for the testing but would like more details on the device to verify it will work for extending the house WiFi signal out to where the gate/ring device will actually be located. Looking forward to your response :)

      Jefferson maizi I love it. But does get a little hot while charging in the sun

    • @jeffersonmaizi2829
      @jeffersonmaizi2829 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean.... it's sitting in the sun, and the panel array is a dark color. That's not really a surprise :)
      I used mine in the blazing September heat in Taos, NM for a week, it's fine.

    What brand and model is the WiFi Extender? Where I can buy one? Do it makes any difference between 2 antennas or hidden antennas models?

    I live in a guest quarter on my family's land, it is around 150 feet from the router in their house. Do you think i just need ONE extender? And does my laptop just connect to the extender that connects to the router?

    Hi, I'm interested in the dobby, but I wanted to know if the videos that reggistra are really so painful, or for family use like holidays, can vacations go well? I found the dobby at € 140 again, it is worth spending € 4/500 to get the spark, certainly better but more expensive? Or do you recommend another foldable and portable drone better than this, obviously under 300 grams?

    Good video, very informative, But surely you could have found a better test location than that . I don't see the point of a limited test location governing the outcome ? Wouldn't a large strip of land and flying the drone to its full range potential be a smarter choice ?

    • @NovaspiritTech
      @NovaspiritTech  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Wayne Clements I agree as well and I do want to reperform this test when I can get to a big piece of flat land but unfortunately new York is very strict with it's drone policy so I rather play it safe until I can find a good location

    I got a question so my router is downstairs and my ps4 is upstairs and my internet connection is trash up here when it comes to using my ps4 online i lag but on my phone fine but idk how the extender is gonna work if its gonna be so far away from the router

    I’m confused ... where was the extender located ??? At the Phone ? Or at the prior drop out point?

    • @NovaspiritTech
      @NovaspiritTech  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      the extender was near my phone. I wanted to be able to test the distance at the same spot my phone with would.

      This experiment showed that the WiFi extender definitely has a more powerful signal than your phone alone. However to get the most use of the WiFi extender, you need to place the WiFi extender down range about 75 to 80 meters away, near where you lost signal on the first test. This should use the maximum range of your phone to the extender, and vastly improve the distance of the drone from the extender.

    Having now worked with using drones officially with search and rescue, you really, really should have a visual observer with human eyes on your drone at all times. FAA regulations apply, even if you are a hobbyist and don't require certification. Otherwise, great demonstration.

      @NovaspiritTech  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      thank you, I'm just a hobbiest, really that's why I choose my friends house and not in public park. trying to keep everything safe

    • @jmtnvalley
      @jmtnvalley 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just trying to keep you out of trouble. FAA regs require eyes on the drone, except in special circumstances. I do like the novel why to test the extender.
