I have quit fix for the window tab breaking at 40K miles. Go to Home Depot pick up some Silicone squirted underneath the plastic tab get some blue painter tape and hold it down for 24 hours and no problem.
All the listed problems I’ve have experienced for the last 20 years of owning every edition of Superdutys and the wind noise on the passenger door in all models every time you hit a bump you hear wind noise in drivers upper left corner of window especially when cold …..and don’t forget f450 shake like hell after 70mph all years I’ve owned including my 2024 450 king ranch
The headlights on my 2020 F250 were the best lights I’ve ever experienced. Awesome looking and awesome performing. The headlights on my 2024 Platinum F-350 are definitely a step in the wrong direction. I’ve experienced the lines in the beam you’re talking about. The lights aren’t bad but not as good as they should be. Other than that, I had zero issues with either truck and am very happy with my Fords.
As a life-long Ford guy, it disheartens me to see how Ford trucks continue losing reliability and creature comforts that came as standard equipment in 2019. And one more thing. If Henry Ford was still alive, he never would've allowed "Junk Pile Jim" Farley to represent his company in Farley's current capacity.
Overall ford has made the best pickup for years. It’s well known. Just imagine if they fixed all the minor stuff that just annoys people. Problems I’ve seen 17+ that you didn’t mention. Tailgate step plastic snapping off constantly if you catch it on anything. Interior paint on trim coming off within 100k miles. Fuel door not shutting properly Vacuum hubs not working. Camera completely not working at all. I’m at 230k on a 17. Original cp4 and 15-18k oil change intervals. Best truck I’ve ever owned. Not to mention ford taking away key features every year or so. No hood liner No hood light No key pad No power steering wheel on lariat anymore. I’m sure the list goes on. Still my favorite truck on the market by far.
How about a 2020 f-350 king ranch with Bose speakers… when I connect my phone to play music, you an I could have a conversation all the way turned up. Radio is loaded than Bluetooth. Took it to my dealer they claim no issue?? Tried resetting and adjusting my sound settings
i bought my truck with a broken trim piece on the roof, fixed it myself by just RTVing the crap out of it at the rivet to make it stick down lol! and yes i bought new trim too.
I read somewhere that the front diff on the 23-25 SD models were smaller and not as robust as the front differentials on the 19-22 models. I wonder why Ford would go with a smaller front diff on the 23-25 model year SD truck. I'm a bit concerned with the CP4 issue that you mentioned. I'd like to hear more about that problem. I've been adding Archoil fuel additive and I haven't noticed any better fuel mileage with it. Maybe I'll look into the Hotshots and Opti-lube XPD additives to see what they offer. I'd like to delete my truck, but I'm going to wait until it's out of warranty. Now I'm wondering if I should preemptively add some caulking to the roof molding before there is a problem. I'm at 20k miles on a 2023 Ford F350. Thanks for making the video.
Adding a fuel additive will not increase your MPG, as they claim. I owned and drove Semis for 22 years, and I bought into that claim, and never did any of the products ever get me better MPG. Trust me, I used to purchase 200-300 gallons of diesel at a time at the truck stops. Purchasing fuel is/was my number one cost for my bottom line. So, the less I used it, the bigger my pay was after unloading. Running my rig at 1400 -1450 rpm gave me my best fuel economy. Slow and easy will provide you with a better fuel economy than anything.
@@Steelviper61 Thanks for that response. I wasn't seeing any mileage improvement in my truck with only 20k miles on it. I'm not sure why so many claim they have a mileage improvement by adding the additives.
Roof trim on mine went at about 50,000 miles on both sides. Then the cab leaked at that same spot. That’s the only problem I have had with the truck. Other than squirrels getting into some of my wires in the engine compartment…
Thank you for sharing (roof trim) do you know of any aftermarket parts to replace/upgrade it? The unfortunate problem, Ford trucks seems to be "it looks good on paper"!
@@tattooedmillionair unfortunately I haven’t seen a true fix besides factory repair. Which will break again. They made the tab so thin it’s impossible to hold up. Most just caulk it down and go on. That just drives me nuts though on a $100000 truck but it does work so I get it.
It's unreal how much plastic are on these redesigned 2023+ SuperDuty's. Goofy looking plastic bed & bumper steps, massive side badges, extra large taillights. More plastic; less aluminum/metal. Ford CEO Jim Farley should be fired for destroying the SuperDuty. Ford is charging absurd prices for these SuperDuty's full of cheap materials. #FORD
Never a trim issue with my trucks. My 2017 had a bad death wobble that started around 2k miles and no stabilizer could fix so I traded for a 2020 that at 30k miles turbo gave up along with engine block seals so the dealer bought it during the pandemic. No more Fords for me
I have a 2022 f250 tremor 7.3l 109000 miles only issue I’ve had is my Trany oil pan is made of plastic and I have to replace the pan because I noticed leaking from the upper pan and gasket replaced fluid and filter then noticed seal/trany to transfer case weeping so that’s next issue and the u joint rear diff weeping some might say normal wear but i say they just don’t make any sense with a plastic trany pan on a super duty !! lol what the heck
@ I never had a ford that did not have an issue. 1999-2017. Our work trucks 2020-25 all have issues. Ram 2012 no issues 2013-2025 rams have issues. No issues with GM 1999-2015. My 21 and 25 GM’s have no major issues just little things like what you are showing. But all my fords have had issues with egr, fuel pump, def, cp4. And the interior looks the worst my opinion. My 25 I did not go diesel I left that game tired of emissions problems. So my opinion from my experience is ram and GM is better then ford.
@ I think everyone will have different issues here and there in the way that you’re explaining it to me it seems like bad luck. Not saying others haven’t had the same issues. But I can give you a whole notebook full of people that have those same issues with Chevy and ram. But if you look at it from a capability and technology standpoint, nothing beats forward, especially when it comes to power. It’s not even close. Even though I haven’t owned a GM product I’ve driven many of them. GM could not make a comfortable seat to save their life. They look great but feel like garbage. The Ford cab is also the best out of the three with the least amount of blind spots in the visibility over the hood. I would take a GM over a ram.
@ I get it everyone is different, and has their own likes and dislikes. And problems are hit and miss on everything. GM does have a big hood lol I don’t have any issues with blind spots or seat comfort not sure if the ZR2 has better seats or not but will tell you ride quality all day hands down GM wins. Ford will win in HP and torque numbers all day. But from my experience towing the shift patterns hold better in the GM as it seams to not hunt gears like ford and honestly you can tell very little on power difference. Even in the HO ford motor. Note with perfect gearing you would tell a lot more difference in power. I will tell you GM does have design flaws in the engine pan.
