    Exhaust is fixed! I’ve daily delivered this thing at lest 6 solid months out of my ownership!

      Thanks for everything Kenny! I recall from when I took the car to get more B-roll that it felt more civilized.

    I absolutely love these quirky Reliant 3 wheelers. In my urban environment such a funky yet legendary little car would suit me well. This looks to be a very finely done example. The engine needs sorting, but I'd buy this one in a heartbeat, if the price is right.

      It was just a little loud from the Monster Energy Drink can exhaust. It ran fine regardless. 😂
      What urban environment do you reside?

      @@ExhibitionofSpeed Columbus Ohio, and I teach at The Ohio State University. My daily is a 10 year old Prius "C", and it's just about perfect for me since I live in the neighborhood and never use 4 lanes unless I'm in my 16 year old CUV.

      Nice! Well, the Robin would certainly add some spice to your commute regardless of where you are. Thanks for watching!

    I love Mr. Bean, he’s my childhood, he hates the three wheeled blue car

    It's probably scary from an American perspective considering how different American cars were in th 70s compared to what was sold in Britain. The whole tipping thing...idk about that. My older brother who has a Rialto had to throw it real hard from side to side to lift a wheel. The stability is an important detail because no one ever says it right. It's a bit more specific.
    Great video btw.

    There is usually a single air vent where your rev counter is!

    I used to have a Reliant Robin in the eighties. In the UK then you could drive a Robin with a motorbike licence. I need never felt worried going round a corner. Eventually the cylinder gasket blew and I sold it. Great car but I graduated to a 4 wheeler.

      Do you miss it at all?

    • @stevenhay1277
      @stevenhay1277 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes. I missed it. It was fun to drive like the Citreon 2CV but I would have kept it to use just for short journeys. I am glad though that I passed my driving test and got a four wheel car

    Is this the same Reliant that Donut Media used?

    • @ExhibitionofSpeed
      @ExhibitionofSpeed  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it was! We drove it about 6 or so weeks before they did.

    I can't remember when I last saw one if these on the roads. Growing up here in Britain in the 70s/80s, I remember seeing them on the Roads, being made of fibreglass, they were known as the plastic pig. I've never driven one. They were seen as unsafe and a bit of a joke. I'm supprised that it can do 70mph.

      Overall it was surprisingly stable given what it is. It was quite a riot but a scary one haha!

    Great vid. You did say a realto when you showed a supervan. A realto was a coupe with s slanted back window like a ford anglia.

      Thanks James! It was difficult to find a footers that fit right and that one seems to have slipped through the cracks. Thanks for the note all the same!

      @@ExhibitionofSpeed I used to live in England as a child. It was a city in yorkshire which was mostly an old coal city so alot of coal miners used to drive these. Walking to school every morning I'd see 2 one a early 90s model one late 90s. Used to find them cool the way they look like their floating with the front wheel tucked inboard
