It’s unfortunate that the culture has evolved to a point where people will hate on celebrities for just wanting to be humans. It shouldn’t be ‘part of the job’ to be harassed, creeped on, or stalked. It wreaks of entitlement and people need to either gain respect for others or take accountability for their actions because celebs like Chappell don’t owe you anything when you’re a complete stranger to them.
Great video. The results of the study aren't easy to hear but it's very important food for thought. it's all too easy to resort to intensifying parasocial relationships for comfort when you're lonely and highly dysfunctional
thank you for watching! the results of the study definitely made me look at stan’s in a different light, and i mean true stans that take it to dangerous heights, it made me realize just how much true love is needed as well as healthy boundaries. idk truly knowing yourself and loving yourself is so important & i just want that for everyone at the end of the day
Honestly i wouldnt be surprised if chappell roan takes a long break or quits music at this point, stan culture has become so bad and normalized People are insane these days its actually concerning Also off topic but i was surprised when i saw your video had only around 1k views i thought it would be atleast around 100k your videos definitely deserve more love!! :]
sooooo concerning!! like it’s okay to appreciate someone’s art but to be entitled to them and treat them like a product is so dehumanizing & thank you 🩷 i’m just trusting the process! i’m still relatively new to posting on youtube
My heart broke when you mentioned Christina Grimmie, such a young talent gone too soon 💔 Also it's interesting how you mentioned cognitive rigidity as one of the character traits of a Stan because that could be a sign to OCD.
she was literally stolen from us and that’s just so upsetting, she should’ve been protected. & wow I didn’t know that, that’s interesting! makes me wanna do a bit more research
7:16 is diabolical sonya please🤣 And yes they don't call these celebs Idols for nothing. People fall in love with their idea of the persons lifestyle, and their art. And as a result turn the person into a product or a god, to where when someone gives some sort of criticism or disagrees with someone they go out of their way to beef with that person. And you see a lot of Christians do this pastors or christian influencers and romanticize their idolization of the person by saying oh i just really look up to this person. Or when someone says i disagree with something they said they be going off harder than the crazy side of the swifties. And you dont even know them fr. Like you see someone walking in their gift and assume they're producing fruit, when in reality, walking in your gift doesn't mean you're walking in relationship with God. Saul was anointed but Gods favor wasnt with him tho. And people be so mad when the person they hyped up and gave fame actually gets famous. And say they arent talented and etc, well thats your problem now bc you're the one that was helping promote them. And use the word overrated tm nowadays, like as soom as something gains recognition its overrated. Like there are things that are popular for a reason ( being good ) Anyways im madddd late😂😂 TYSM FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO BOOKIEE😁💗💖
