I had a breast reduction 5 years ago when I was 20 and it was the BEST decision I ever made! I spent years justifying it to people but to be honest, I feel more comfortable and confident within myself and no one else has the right to dictate what decisions I made. Well done you for following your gut and going for it! It has been life changing and I feel so grateful for having it done, totally feel you gal!

😭😭My chest has ruined such a big part of my life. Growing and feeling insecure about the size in high school was the absolute worst. I genuinely think it created a huge dent in my confidence. I loved this so much Riley! I am dying over your first kiss story. I was a late bloomer too and had my first kiss in college! It was unexpected at a party and an acquaintance planted one on me. I cried in the corner bc I waited so long and it was nothing special at all. But still something I remember vividly! I’m so glad yours was such a magical moment!!

hey Riley!! so I’ve been a fan for a few years and absolutely loved your videos. you’ve been such an inspiration, encouragement, and support system through the past couple years. anywaysssss, I wanted to mention how much your dads quote on guys and feelings blew my mind. the whole
“a man will tell you how he feels; a boy won’t know how too...”
and that just gave me so much insight and wisdom I didn’t know I needed. I’ve kinda been stuck in a pickle of trying to show my affections to a dude, but him not clearly show his back and I’m not too sure what’s happening. and that has been sooooo incredibly draining. but after I heard that quote, I was literally flabbergasted. so thank you for being so open in so many different areas, I really appreciate it!!

I can relate to you!! When I was on the phone with my dad I was struggling because I still had feelings for this guy and I felt like I still wanted to put in the effort despite being drained. I thought "oh, but if I just push a little more...than maybe this could work out...maybe he could want me." And then my dad pretty much told me if the guy wanted it to work out then he would be putting in the effort to make it work out. He wasn't putting in the effort...so I had my answer. It's definitely a tough truth, but a truth nonetheless. I'm glad my dad's advice could help shed some light on your situation. I know you'll find someone who pursues you and treats you the way you deserve to be treated! Love ya!!

And omg when you described you envied the girl you were before for feeling so close to God naturally, I felt like you just described me that I couldn’t really explain. Sometimes, it feels like it’s better, but I feel like I cannot really go back. And sometimes, just pretending like I will feel that closeness and presence, kind of works sometimes, but I still don’t know what to do.

Hi! I’m five years into my teen life; I’ve already dealt with many struggles I didn’t expect. We actually have the same birthday! 😁 Anyway, I have a body very similar to yours. My heavy breast have always been my biggest insecurity. I’m only 5 foot, but I weigh 130 lb. A lot of people with my body style aren’t… let’s just say aren’t “fit” I had precocious puberty, so I developed boobs in fifth grade. I was glad to see someone with a body so close to mine! You are beautiful! But it’s hard to see that in myself. With my mom and sister in college it’s just kinda impossible for me to have a physical therapist, dietitian, or even think about a breast reduction. I guess I was just wondering what all you try to eat, and what exercises you try to do throughout the week. I just want to feel good about myself in the right ways. So ummm, I guess if you have any advice or tips I would really appreciate them.
I think, another way to help a girl feel beautiful(or validated? Reassured) is to help them feel that you love them regardless of how they look. If they understand they can be loved that way, they will trust you more and start to love unconditionally back, building love beyond what our eyes see. Maybe this is too obvious but I think one of the reasons girls may be sensitive with their look is because we can so easily believe that we’re unlovable when we’re not ‘beautiful’ and then fear being left. If you compliment their non-external traits and let them know you love them even when she’s in doubt, she’ll understand you love her because it’s her and not because of appearance or something like that.

Regarding your advice on guys on how to make a girl feel beautiful (coming from a guy): I am careful when doing this because I do not want to come across as catcalling, which is something that is not ok and I try to advocate against. I try to compliment things other than appearance (applies to all genders), and particularly for women/girls I have to know them well before I make any comments on their appearance, if ever.
