I only screwed up Zhongli's and that was me forgetting he had a background. But this shows how much thought the artists put it to make them all recognizable and suit the characters.

I was playing on 2x speed and panicked, thought it was zhongli because I saw one of the comments. For Raiden’s I paused a bit before realizing “oh that’s Raiden’s electro eye thing”

i got zhongli, yae miko and raidens shogun wrong, i didnt know the different types of backgrounds
youre traumatized enough to remember qiqi and diluc' s one
god why yae miko's all pitch black, i only recognized because of the corners sides
got all them right, zhongli, shogun and yae's were tricky
Shogun was ez tho the eye thingy on the top gives it away

And every time a standard banner character came up I just complained about how I would have been happier if I got them instead of Diluc. It's been 12 days and I already got the character I wanted and I'm still complaining. I don't know why I'm still upset.

Aso tricks on how I got Zhongli, Raiden, and Yae Miko right
For Yae Miko, if you look at the very edge, you will see a part of what Yae Miko is holding(Idk what it is called sorry
For Raiden, If you look up you will see something that looks like an eye
And for Zhongli, if you look down, you will see his left foot.
The thing Yae Miko is holding is called a Gohei

I mixed Raiden’s with Zhongli’s and almost got it wrong but I set my mind straight split second with the shape of the Eye of Stormy Judgement shape getting it right barely at the end.
I got shenhe wrong but I saw the braid and my mind instantly went to Raiden since I've been drawing her for like 2 hours

The fact I missed Albedo and didn't recognize Xiangling until I saw Guoba made me rethink my life's descision coz I answered Miko's, Ei's and Zhongli's confidently

I got them all right, but heres a tip on spotting the difference on yaes and zhonglis
(dont read this comment if you want to do it legitimately tho)
At the bottom left of zhonglis you can see the the end of vortex vanquisher
On yae mikos, if you look at the middle then look left and right, you can see these things thta kinda look like petals from a sakura tree or sakura bloom, and if you look at the top left you can see the thing yae miko holds when you do her normal attack (i forgot what its called)
when you see a tiny character, you can easily tell who it is just by the special design 😭

Me and my sister were guessing, since I do better at these I give her a countdown for the characters. She guesses Venti, my favorite character, since her character hasn’t come up, I decided to guess hers immediately, her expression was worth it.

I missed 3. Albedo, Yae, and Zhongli, which considering Albedo is one of the least popular characters in the game, and the other 2 have splash art that are just giant blobs, I think is pretty good.
I got them all right with 2x speed. Thanks to the comments i didn't get mental blocked on Yae, Raiden, and Zhongli splash art XD

I’ve been playing Genshin for 4 months but I guessed all of them right the yae Milo and zhongli is lot difficult to guess but if you have pulled zhongli before you will see the clouds on top of his background
that first one made me remember bad memories of my first 5* appearing on my screen as xiao never came home and diluc started haunting me

I only got raiden shogun wrong. The only reason I got certain ones like yae miko is because of very small details like how yae has a piece of her stick thing extending out on the upper left of her art, or venty because I could see the lyre
