Cover Song Party: Oceansize "Commemorative T-Shirt" [remix]

This was part of a re-mixing project during covid lockdown in 2021.
I was bored. Never posted the remix.

2021:
After acquiring a pile of new studio gear over the last year plus, I've opted to try remixing some haphazardly recorded cover songs from the #CoverSongParty series!
My new @FOCAL monitors have been a real revelation, as well as using Sonarworks. I feel like I'm hearing things for the first time!

If you didn't know already, Oceansize is an all time band for me, and Mike Vennart is a guitar hero.
Perhaps the demo video of his signature pedal, or the Laney GH 50L head would have tipped you off.
I love his songs, his sound, his productions, band and solo.
I have turned a ton of my students on to his music, and will continue to spread the gospel of Vennart for the rest of my days.
This was a long one. Took TWO parties to get it all done. It was an absolute blast to dissect all of the weird layers, and try to recreate them. It's sloppy, but it was so much fun. Far worse ways to spend a couple of Fridays.
And, let's be serious.
