    Do you run nitrogen or regular air for your bar saw it looks like it comes back a lot faster after a cut than ours.

      I run nitrogen most of the time but I have had to use air when I’m out of nitrogen, have you checked your bar cylinder seals and purged it lately? Sometime oil gets on the air side of the cylinder which will slow it down a lot.

      @@GBLogging No never purged it before I’ll have to look into doing that. How do you get your nitrogen to fill it?

      @@codysmith2812 let the nitrogen out of your tank on the head, take off the hose that is connected from the bar cylinder to the nitrogen tank.
      Then pull the bar all way out of the head buy hand and that will push all the oil out of the cylinder, if there is any oil in there, and if there is you should reseal the cylinder.

      @@GBLogging Ok thanks. Do you get nitrogen from like AirGas or something to be able to fill it? We have always just used air.

      @@codysmith2812 yeah I just get it from our local welding shop so air gas should have it, I think if you are running a ultra t or c it’s supposed to be 275 psi but I’d have to check on that for sure and I doubt your getting anywhere close to that with a air compressor.
      So that would help it a lot

    I was looking at a ultra t wheeled one how are they in the hills

    • @GBLogging
      @GBLogging  ปีที่แล้ว

      It all depends on how steep the hills are if a skidder can climb them a bell can cut it, if it has tire chains

      They suck on hills with tires

      The track machines will work on hills better than tires. With tired machines U need to run chains, always. They will back up a steeper hill than U can drive forward up. The wheeled machines will lay over on their side quite easily. There are always some trees U should cut by hand on the hills. But over all they do good.
