I wanted to get a used bicycle when I was there for a couple of months, but I reconsidered as soon as I learned that I had to fill out forms to have it registered. Administration in JP is too much of a hassle to deal with when it's not absolutely necessary
Rambalac, you are a great tourism ambassador for your country. These night walks - showing the ordinary Japan as a safe, clean and peaceful place - would do more to encourage me to visit Japan than any slick advertising campaign.
That area from around 20:00 to 25:00, I am rather surprised that there are so many temples in that small area! Also it was so nice to see the Yanaka Ginza area, too. I am a Japanese national but have been away from Japan for many many years, and your uploads enable me to experience walks (virtual) in various parts of Japan. Thank you.

Strict laws about dogs? Well, that almost sounds like an alien thing to me, as a brazilian. Dogs here are everywhere on the streets and it is much more common to find them than cats.

Bicycles do have built-in locks and thefts are the leading reported crime in Japan. Probably a high chance of recovery by the police though.
