Wow, thank you for doing this! I agree it is pretty dang close. The sweet spot capture maybe had a little extra special sparkle that the liquid one didn't but I doubt you could tell in a mix or a loud club. If you are using profiles that are close to what you want, being able to more accurately fine tune with liquid profiles is a huge step up.
I don't have a Kemper but that is quite cool stuff. I do love your Deluxe capture for Tonex. It's probably the best clean Fender capture in Tonex land so far. Thank you so much.
Great demo as always. Really got me thinking of Kemper as a serious proposition now they have developed the Liquid Modelling. I can see Tonex maybe developing something similar, you can already adjust the frequency of the Treble, Mids and Bass so maybe they could take this further to ‘match’ them to the values used on the amps you capture? Your comment about having 6 amps all the same and variation in the Tonestacks is very relevant here. My JTM45 is a good example, if I max out the mid control it suddenly leaps to a cocked wah type of sound , back off a fraction and it sounds like it should. I wouldn’t want Kemper to duplicate that….
Hey Jason. Ben here. Absolutely awesome video [ as always ]. Can I please ask .... when you did the ground up new Liquid Profiles ... did you use the manual recommended Real Amp settings of Gain on Full and EQ's all on 12.00 (?) or a different range of Real Amp settings (?) All the best, and keep up the great work. Ben
@@guitartoneSA general you're right, but in this specific case it wouldn't help the sound cause it lacks the brightness and he could only cut the brightness with the bright cap.

I think we are hearing the mic and preamp differences. But it’s really close.

Sounds great and inspiring!
you can adjust the clarity and definition controls and get the tone even closer
First adjust the Bright Cap level on the actual unit because it doesn't appear on the Editor yet.
And then Definition and Clarity.

I guess that’s why so many pro touring acts are using the Kemper.
