From what Lily said when she was given the flower, I get the feeling she used to be a much kinder person in the past. She must have gone through some truly awful things to become so cold- hearted (Perhaps the death of her husband, since she's referred to as a "Dowager," which is basically just a fancy term for a wealthy widow). Though, that just makes it all the sweeter when the gift of the flower helps open up her heart again and turn her back into that kind person!
I saw this on Disney Channel when i was 4 going on 5 30 years ago and thought it was a fun Rankin Bass special but doesn't hold a candle to Here Comes Peter Cottontail. Who thinks Aunt Lily is the most greedy Rankin Bass villain this side of Burgermeister and King Haggard? and who knew Fritz the Cat is the voice of Sunny
I felt like this was a borderline advertisement for eggs, jelly beans, and new clothes so that I can have a better happier life. But let's not forget Lilly turned around OUT OF NO WHERE! I mean.... was anyone else confused by that? Back in the day I guess the Scrooges of the world just become good people when they realize they've lost. Then again - I might be overanalyzing all of this ....
The Easter Bunny asks the 2 engines, "Will you please take us over the mountain?" Refusing to take him and the chickens over the mountain, the Shiny New Engine says, "I am a fine Passenger Engine, and I carry people in my coaches," and the Big Strong Engine says, "And I am a very important Freight Engine, and I pull cars full of heavy tanks, logs, and coals."
I remember watching this when it first came out on ABC TV back when I was in grade 7 - April 1977. The Easter Bunny is comin' to town today Here's hopin' he's hippity-hoppin' your way So straighten your bonnets and shine up all your shoes And hurry. There's no time to lose The Easter Bunny is comin' to town today He's ridin' an engine instead of a sleigh Don't blink for even a second or he'll be gone He puffs in at quarter to dawn He'll be fillin' Easter baskets He'll be rollin' eggs like mad Green and everything that's winter clad The Easter Bunny is comin' to town today Here's hopin' he's hippity-hoppin' your way So get your brushes and paints. Give him a hand It's Easter throughout of the land

Lily Longtooth says the rabbit's a rodent, but I made the correction that rabbits are lagomorphs, not rodents. That's why I put the timestap up there for you to observe. And do some research on rabbits for God's sake!

I didn't like Santa Claus Is Coming To Town very much. Whether or not this film has a similar plotline I like it...and I'm glad too, I have a hard time finding a good variety of Easter films and shorts that are worth watching or keeping.

Could it be... A weapon to surpass Metal Gear?
Does anyone think that the train yard that Sunny and the chickens visited was in Chicago? because the blue diesel engine said that he pulled the 20th Centruy Limited and the Green one said that he pulled the Super Chief and the only stop that both those trains had was Chicago.
It is the 20th Centruy Limited. And it is Super Chief.
That's because Farnsworth said that he pulled the fine passenger train and Pete said that he pulled the freight train.
The passenger train, the freight train, the 20th Centruy Limited, the Super Chief, and what else?
Gadzooks said his namesake 10 times.
35:45 What does she say here?

Why did Fred Astaire tell and sing in this one, like he did in Santa Claus is coming to town?
Because it has the same storyline, but different characters.
Happy easter day 2017
21:46-- Correction: a lagomorph.
Lauren Mesquite What's that supposed to mean?
