Not that happy with Sgt's dismissive attitude to police complaints . According to him because the complaints against him were 'a load of rubbish' that seemed to lead him to the assumption that other complaints against other officers were too.
Every police force policy I’ve read not only requires constables to carry their warrant cards, but also at all times while on police premises, they must have their warrant cards on display (and PCSOs and police staff must have their staff ID on display). This seems to be one of the many policies that police routinely ignore. I’ve just checked the policy for this force and as expected the same policy applies, as quoted below. Also note the policy on name badges which again many constables also fail to follow.…. BCH20/001 - Dress and Equipment Code and Standards Policy for BCH [Bedfordshire Police, Cambridgeshire Constabulary & Hertfordshire Constabulary]. Warrant/identity cards 4.8.2 All individuals are issued with a warrant or identity card and are required to carry this with them at all times when on duty. Officers are advised to carry them also whilst off duty in England and Wales (in view of the fact that they may wish to identify themselves should they become involved in an incident whilst off duty in countries in which they have powers). When visiting certain countries, individuals should seek guidance from PSD in whether to take their warrant/identification card. 4.8.3 All officers and staff will visibly wear their warrant or identity card at all times whilst on duty on police premises and at other locations/times when directed to do so. Name badges 4.8.4 Where issued, individuals are to wear name badges, except on ceremonial occasions, on all orders of dress. Amendments to rank on name badges will be made in the case of temporary promotion, but not for the granting of acting rank. 4.8.5 Uniformed individuals will be issued velcro name badges and a patch on the left side of the upper chest on coats, fleeces and shirts, will be included to facilitate these. Where issued to non-uniformed individuals, pin-on or magnetic badge may be worn on the outer item of clothing, in an appropriate place, e.g. on a lapel. 4.8.6 Exceptions will be made by managers for individuals for whom the wearing of a name badge would compromise their work, e.g., a covert activity.
The thing about uniforms is should they not be uniform (the same). The RTA states that you have to give your details to an officer in uniform, the question is what is a police uniform as they all seem to wear different clothes
@@michaelfulthorpe1910 Dear God, I didn't say it was a RTA stop did I? It was an example. You do realise that via s50 PRA an officer can demand your name , address but not DOB though? Great Sargent, nice to see one who has a good demeanour with the public, great you ride a 125, I'm hoping to get a bike soon 😀
They made the fence look like an homeless camp. I'm sure if I put crap up around my fence the council would be sending me letters to tidy the mess up.
That’s the fastest dismissed I have ever seen🤣
Sergeant seems like a good guy.
Did a very professional job. A credit to the Police Force.
101 is the answer to everything these days. In other words, let them fob you off!
Adding to what people have said, respect to the sergeant, all police should be this good.
BCH20/001 - Dress and Equipment Code and Standards Policy for BCH [Bedfordshire Police, Cambridgeshire
Constabulary & Hertfordshire Constabulary].
Warrant/identity cards
4.8.2 All individuals are issued with a warrant or identity card and are required to carry this with them at all times when on duty.
Name badges
4.8.4 Where issued, individuals are to wear name badges, except on ceremonial occasions, on all orders of dress.
Fair play to the sergeant polite friendly and respectful 👌
The thing about uniforms is should they not be uniform (the same). The RTA states that you have to give your details to an officer in uniform, the question is what is a police uniform as they all seem to wear different clothes
Costumes.
You do not HAVE to give your details to an officer in uniform just because they ask it's not fkn nazi germany m8 this wasn't a RTA stop.
@@michaelfulthorpe1910 Dear God, I didn't say it was a RTA stop did I? It was an example. You do realise that via s50 PRA an officer can demand your name , address but not DOB though? So, yes in some instances you do have to give details ergo your claim that we are under Nazi's, can you expand on that?
The sergeant was very professional.
I was lucky enough to escape Luton over 30yrs ago. Suitcase and running shoes up the M1.
Luton is a dump. I say this although it is my home town.
A sergeant showing respect.
It's not that difficult is it!
Olive should produce their warrant when requested. Bearing in mind that police uniform is easy to get it is wise to ask for a warrant.
That Sergeant was a breath of fresh air!
Warrant cards should be carried at all times in uniform or out of uniform on duty or off duty.
Nice to see no bully boys! Respectful Sergeant and how an interaction should be👍
Brilliant Power goodbye if he is unwilling to id himself Spasiba dasvidaniya thank you very much
"Not got your warrant card?" Walks away.
Perfect
Respect to the seargent, not so many like that about.
