Due to heavy rainfall from Yagi last week, water levels on the mainstream will rise and some may be flooded.
𝗠𝗲𝗸𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 | 𝟭𝟭 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰
💧 Today, on 𝟭𝟭 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, the water level in 𝗟𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 has reached 𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹.

Sabaideeeee! It’s surprising that you can sometimes literally walk across the Mekong into Thailand, and sometimes Vientiane floods from the Mekong. Do you travel and visit other parts of Lao like Central Xiangkhuang Province or Long Chieng? So much is happening now in Lao, it’s “engines” are speeding up. The Hmong are growing big time.

I am so sad when I saw Mighty Mekong river following over the dangerous level for heavy rainfall and caused lots of natural calamity like already flooded lower level of Vientiane city. So many houses already submerged by the water 😢. Couple of days before my beautiful city also flooded by heavy rainfall. Luckily my area is uphills. So nothing happened to me.
Anyway in this painful time as a Buddhist I am sending to Lao people my love and compassion and I put Vientiane and Luang prabang in my prayers 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤

I just moved to Laos and I’ve never experienced a flood and I’m really scared but my street hasn’t been flooded at all, and I think it’s coz we don’t live so near the Mekong river!

Lao flooding is due to Chinese opening irrigation,dam and water overwhelming
This should not happen in a dam system. Who released the water from so many dams all at once.

Hopefully this year would be safe for all Laotians in 50’s-60’s.Vientiane just natural habitat as whole state of Laos has not improve as today people have done for over 4 decades and constructs a lot compared in the past because did not had the chance to do so.Again some factions still not happy but questions what are going to do about it only barking like a good old dog especially Laotians living over seas and those guys had no knowledge about their own Laos.Thank you Lady for your times for up date currents situation in beautiful land of Laos.
@@bounnhongsiripannha1151 Vientiane is growing so fast. They are building more roads, parking lots, and houses so the flooding will get bad if they do not plan ahead. I have lived many years in south Florida where we have a hot/rainy season for 6 months. Even without all the hurricanes we get, and being at sea level, we get severe flooding from heavy rains. It’s been a disaster here for cities like Bonita Springs in my Lee County because they have built and grown too fast without proper planning.
@@generalnguyenngocloan1700 Oh yes they have done a lot to try improve the lives of publics as whole roads construct throughout the country and increase productivity and economies as the same time .People of Laos have hade endure hardship for so long. But these generation get just little better and l hope Laotians over sea see how their country came about and try to understand or recognize Laos problems more clearly and don’t compare industrial nations ours their is no match.Absolutely a lot more to be done that definitely there are always room to improve.
