One thing I learned recently was that snail secretion can be troublesome for people with dust mite allergies. So that explains why I had issues with it! Here's a quote from the summary of one study: "A knowledge of cross-reactions between different allergens can facilitate the diagnosis of allergy. IgE cross-reactivity has been identified between house dust mite and snails."
I just watched a marathon of your old empties videos last night! I love them for full reviews on products after they have been fully used up, and you do such a good job with them!
I also meant to ask have you gotten the new Beauty of Joseon ginseng products? The cleansing oil and the eye cream with retinal? I am really looking forward to some reviews of these products bc I love the Ginseng Water Essence so so much!!!
TOO FUNNY -- I have a CosRX Snail Essence that I have been working through forever too. I have been trying to use it more often to finish it...even so I am only about 1/2 way through it. Definite value for the the money and when I do use it consistently, I do enjoy it!
I don’t know what it is about snail products, they literally last forever. I keep looking at my bottle and being like “aren’t you done yet?!? It’s def good product for the price, you just have to make a very long term relationship with it 😂. I switch my essences up depending on the day, weather, sun exposure, you know, all the things lol so I really have to force myself to use it. Which I’ve been doing. I swear there’s maybe an inch left of product and it NEVER SEEMS TO MOVE!! I swear there’s gremlins filling it back up at night while I sleep 🤣🤣
I agree about the experience with Beauty of Joseon cleansing balm. I fell in love with it since the first use, thanks to your review! I’m getting the sunscreen next too!
for em dr ceuracle kombucha gel cream and then topping it off with paula's choise omega cream was winning combo during colder season. My aging drying sensitive combo skin loved that combo. In my skin it hasnt pilled ever, so maybe just different skincare below, humidity , other factors.
The cosrx snail essence didn't really work for my skin.. it makes my skin congested in just 2 3 uses, gave me blackheads. I still used half of the bottle but not anymore i am done trying to make it work. 😂
Sometimes you just have to throw shit out. I used to be like that and try and use it….nope. If I pass it on I tell them if you don’t like it throw it away. 🤣🤣
your vid just shows how different skin types take to products - thanks Kelly. I have super dry skin and the Midnight Recovery cream has made 1000% difference - my skin feels the best it has in a long long time, and it has helped with the tret sensitivity. I honestly couldn't be without it. Love TO chia seed oil, but have just started on TO B oil and omg it is so so good. x
Paula choice is 25% off and free ship right now well atleast it was yesterday just letting anyone know if they need anything they have been doing alot of 20% off sales the past 2 months but not 25% off , I'm gonna get some more of the omgea serum I did try the mini ones got 2 when they were onsale with free ship to try and I really like it I'm still working on the last one.
I really want to try the new Krave beauty re wash kinda amazing says u don't even have to use a second cleanse if u don't want to because it rinses off. I also want to try the PL oil cleanser and BOJ plum and I think the make prem bubble cleanse peel thing that has LHA really gentle heard it was amazing O I finally got to try the sk11 I got 2 GWP ended up with 2 onces and I totally see the hype so sad I fell in love with an essence that expensive and I will be sad when I use it up cause I'll want to buy it but I think I am gonna try the iope bio essence before I buy the sk11 again, I love my RNW And Scinic similar products but their is something about sk11 I never though I would be a convert.
Love the video. Paula's omega moisturizer does work for me it's too balmy heavy texture. BOJ does not work in very hot and humid climate. I got tanned. They should come out with water proof version because I love the texture.
If they tried to make it water resistant, the texture would inevitably change. It's like the saying: "You can't have your cake and eat it too." It doesn't work that way unfortunately. Water resistant sunscreens do tend to have a heavier texture. I live in Singapore and yes you're right, the BOJ sunscreen will literally melt off my face in our unforgiving heat and humidity. That said, you shouldn't depend solely on sunscreens anyway for protection from the sun. It's still best to stay out of the sun as much as possible and wear sun protective clothing, hat etc. I always carry a parasol with UPF in my bag with me at all times, and when I'm out and about, especially during mid-day when the sun is at its hottest, I'll pull it out.
Yeah water resistance is a must for hot/humid weather! BOJ is my go to when I'm not sweating but need that heavy duty, stay put SPF for summer. Wish more K-beauty would come out with water resistant SPF because I often have to go to European or American sunscreen for that.
Ooo girl u can send the Klairs midnight cream my way , I love it .lol 😂 I use it under other moisturizer and love it so much I broke my last jar I didn't mean to buy the jar version could have swore I bought the tube and used it 1 time fell on tile and glass everywhere not savable I was so sid I haven't replaced it yet ,I do have so many things I need to replace feel like I'm running low on all my favs anD everything then I also want to try new stuff so it suck when u run out of everything and all the bills are do at the same time plush 500$ I spent on Botox that I was screwed on and he wouldn't fix what he didn't do and charged me for and wanted to charge me 200$ more so know I got to go back and see the nurse I saw that did an amazing job I was so happy with for 329$ I think it's crazy he tried to charge be 700$ for some Botox in my forehead then didn't even do it he was done in 2 sec and hardly any pricks found out supposedly he put more units in then the nurse before to buy honestly I think he just charged me for them and not put them in their is no way sucks when u trust someone ND then get taken like that .
I was having some serious skin barrier issues, so I abandoned just about all of my previous skin care and tried a bunch of new products. In this process, I ended up trying my very first Korean sunscreen, the Benton Air fit sunscreen, and almost all of my skin sensitivity has disappeared! What are your opinions on that sunscreen?
I bought the chia seed oil on your recommendation. When my skin gets a bit healthier, I’m definitely trying it. The BoJ sunscreen works well for my super sensitive skin, which astounds me. I can’t handle most chemical sunscreens, and this feels great on my skin all day. I’m amazed.
The Paula’s choice omega moisturizer did not work for me either. I have been hesitant to try the serum because a lot of their products don’t agree with me.
Hi Kelly! I’ve tried all kinds of cleansing oils and balms to remove mascara but nothing works for me like the bioderma micellar water and I don’t even wear waterproof mascara. I wonder if I should give the beauty of josen balm a try? You make it sound like it’s in a class all it’s own and it would be nice to not have to buy separate make up rounds to remove my mascara or would I still use the makeup rounds with the cleansing balm by Josen?
They have some pretty good reusable makeup rounds that I use with the bioderma sensibio micellar water, and with chemical exfoliating toner. That could be a good investment if you don't want to keep buying cotton ones all the time. Just read reviews before to make sure they're good ones!
I find that I don't need to use rounds with cleansing balm, just massaging it with my hands usually works for me. And I use a lot of tubing and waterproof mascara because I have very oily eyelids that melt all mascara. My sister really likes the boj balm cleanser!
I have the tarte knockout toner. It’s really high strength exfoliants that I used before I just went through menopause and my skin decided it was going to be a whiny bitch, and my daughters can’t even look at it or her sensitive skin will freak out. Hey I just thought of something. I should mix it in with my cream cleanser 🤔 I wonder if that would buffer it enough, or would the water make it penetrate more. Hmmm any thoughts, anyone ??
@@KellyDriscoll it’s super watery, like first essence consistency. I’ll try it and see how it works. Thanks Edit you know I never thought to use it after and I don’t know why 🤷♀️ because I have a farmacy exfoliating serum that goes on last due to consistency. It’s funny how we get tunnel vision and a toner has to go here or there or before this and after that. Yeah I’ll try patting it on later in my routine. 😊

I had this issue !
Hi Kelly, have you tried any products from Numbuzin eg. cleansing oil, toners or serums?
I just watched a marathon of your old empties videos last night! I love them for full reviews on products after they have been fully used up, and you do such a good job with them!

When do you use the Ordinary Copper Peptide serum? Where does it fit in your routine especially with the tret?

I just finished my LRP lipikar ap wash! And opened my backup :)
And I'm almost through my shower bottle of bioderma sensibio gel cleanser.
I'm still surprised you haven't tried the round lab dokdo toner since you love basic hydrating cleansers with jumbo sizes.

Big same, it broke me out big time
Don't you hate that? When well loved and popular stuff just doesn't work for your skin, it's a real let down!
Try isntree green tea toner, really light texture and great for acne and congestion prone skin, I promise you'll LOVE it❤

Good morning. Would you be reviewing the new Krave rewined cleanser? I’m curious what you would think 😀
No immediate plans, but probably down the road at some point.

I would like your opinion on the Korean skincare brand Aestura, especially their moisturisers ☺️❤️
When something doesn't works on my face I use it on my body as well.

Hi Kelly… are we supposed to not use lactic acid or glycolic mask in summer? If not, what are some good exfoliants to use on face in summer?

The COSRX snail mucin broke me out I’m pretty sure. The texture just also wasn’t for me. Maybe I’m crazy

what is ur fav toner and essences for combo acne prone skin?
Love your empties video!❤️
So glad you enjoyed!
Love these reviews, I've tried some of these and have similar opinions 🥰
Glad you like them!
Love the reviews Kelly but La Roche is pronounced as if it rhymes with crochet or like the “oa” in roach. Just a pet peeve of mine. Have a good day!
The Paula’s choice omega moisturizer did not work for me either. I have been hesitant to try the serum because a lot of their products don’t agree with me.

Hmmm I'm not sure those textures would mix. You might be able to layer a thicker toner or essence before the exfoliating toner to help buffer it.
@@KellyDriscoll it’s super watery, like first essence consistency. I’ll try it and see how it works. Thanks
