This is one of the most profound mistakes we make in our waking lives. The space-time reflects in our head, all the time. In that sense, the outside and inside is the same. What is there is there but it is nothing without our inner experience of it.
Thank you for a superb class Swamiji. Shobana Adhyasa is a very important pointing towards the Reality. Even as a young girl I thought why am I always happier with "things" in my mind and not so happy once I get them. Or when I am thinking about the content of sugar in ice cream I don't enjoy the ice cream. When I disregard the content of sugar and let senses lead me without thinking I love the exact same ice cream. Blessings!!! 🙏❤
Salutations, Guruji! Enjoyed the class very much, with your in-depth analysis. It is tough enough living in your own mind, why allow any space for others’? I appreciated that humorous observation.😊Om Shanti 🙏🏼
Pranam Swamiji A lyric from the 70's "what you see is what you get" I've found the projection from my mind of beauty in nature an "Eden" and live in that world. If this was willful on my part or did karma and past learning bring me to this point ? Not of desire but am in a"happy place" santosh and keep all other heads out of my head was it the Beatles or the stones album "outta our heads ? ah the 60's
I thought idealism accepted an external world, it just denies that it is physical, the external world is alson mental states. And as a mental being through our senses we perceive that workd as physicality.
Adore your English , Sanskrit and laughter. Thankyou for your wonderful teachings. Pranams. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you so much
I don’t think, “it is only inside” is the message, but that both inside and outside are the illusions created by the duality creating mind.

thank you that last verse 17.20 is a bit complicated
Swamiji, Thank you. Shouldn't the last word of verse 17:20 be गृह्ये (gṛhyate)? Note the dot under the "r" in the transliteration.
The first half was clear enough but the second half made it confusing.
