Forecast: Severe weather hitting Florida this weekend

- Heavy rain, high gusty winds, and high tides are forecast to hit Florida this weekend. Rain will begin to intensify on Saturday night into Sunday morning. During this time, a few severe storms are possible with brief tornadoes and pockets of damaging winds.

Back in the early 90's, a similar storm came in around Dunelin, FL. It was exactly like a mid-cat hurricane, but cold. There was lots of flooding, tornadoes & no utilities in very cold weather. We were all shocked & it caught MANY people unaware since there wasn't internet. It's not a joking situation & it doesn't make people cool when they make them.
Isn't this weather a little odd for Florida in December?
Not in El Nino
El Nino these types of storms are more common, it would be very unusual in La Nina and in neutral also not as common.

Where I live right now it says 97 feels like 116 degrees I was just outside it is no ways near that hot my thermometer says 85° they are lying to you trying to push over this global warming crap

This is terrible! I feel sorry for you all in Florida! Having to deal with inappropriate weather for this time of year! And I remember you mentioning floods likely! At least you guys are caring about those affected from floods & other bad stuff the rain causes! In Oregon where I live! They don’t care one bit! They don’t care about how bad the rain is or how thousands & thousands of people dye each & every year from floods the rain causes. Thankfully! You guys do! And this is also proof for those that play dumb & love the rain the fact that as much as they love it! It isn’t loving them back. Because it wants to kill people from the floods & depression like what is happening with you guys! I pray for you guys that you can have long lasting sunshine soon! Besides! The rain would be more appropriate if we were in the Southern Hemisphere where it is Winter right now instead of Summer.
