I served in the USMC during the Gulf war and this music is what got us all through. We lived it on the front lines what has been written in between the lyrics.

During the Empire Tour, Queensryche performed Operation: Mindcrime in its entirety. Pamela Moore was Suite Sister Mary on stage. Doctor X made a brief appearance. One of the best concerts I've seen in my life. When Record Theatre was still around, they were not allowed to play any song from this album. There will NEVER be a decade like this one was.
November the 22nd 1990 changed my live because I saw the whole Mindcrime album live in Hannover. This show changed my life because no show before and no show after it had impressed me this way. I have so many memories of this show althoug it is nearly 35 years ago. Oh fuck, I'd never seen a better show again. And they played it perfect. The memory is overwhelming me. But what I commiserate is that they never reached this level again. It is the curse of a perfect album. THE perfect album. Almost everything has it's perfect place. Nobody can top this.
This is one of those albums that crosses over to the other side. IMO, it is the best album Queensryche ever did. And one of the best metal albums ever recorded.

I have been listening to this Album for weeks. I can't get enough of it. Causing me to get to bed 2 or 3 in the morning. I truly believe this is the absolute best metal album from any of those bands EVER!!
Yeah I know. Before uploading I tried it with many sound systems and it was alright. All channels. After uploading it, TH-cam somehow enhanced bass. And now it's peaking guite bad.
The whole album is about MK Ultra and a little love story. Unfortunately, Nikki takes the fall for the dead priest and Mary. They were both killed by Dr.X. MK Ultra/ Machurain candidate and now DEW on the forefront of humanity. It is a great album explaining MK Ultra.
I thought he did it but forgot because the word "Mindcrime" was the trigger to make him an assassin. When he wasn't under the mind control, he completely forgot what he did under it. He became an alternate personality.

I am lucky to have experienced New Album Anticipation - buying my new record within the strongest timeline pull of those masterpieces (60s-80s) - when $8 would provide a story, storybook and matching music to become one with until the paper and cardboard edges happily split
Definitely in top ten of best albums ever released by anyone, Rarely does an album like this get release, not only is every song a masterpiece but they tell a fantastic story. I was not much impressed with their first three releases, one day a friend showed up and told me you gotta' hear the new Queensryche album, It blew my mind, I could not believe Queensryche done it. Everything about this album is outstanding, The kind of album I would expect from Roger Waters but not Queensryche, But unlike Roger Waters it was a one time thing unfortunately. But rarely does any band ever put out even one album as great as Operation: Mindcrime

Definitely in top ten of best albums ever released by anyone, Rarely does an album like this get release, not only is every song a masterpiece but they tell a fantastic story. I was not much impressed with their first three releases, one day a friend showed up and told me you gotta' hear the new Queensryche album, It blew my mind, I could not believe Queensryche done it. Everything about this album is outstanding, The kind of album I would expect from Roger Waters but not Queensryche, But unlike Roger Waters it was a one time thing unfortunately.
But rarely does any band ever put out even one album as great as Operation: Mindcrime

Most underrated album, band, drummer, and vocalist of all time. Poignant, brutal, metal, poignant, and poignant! lol. Anyway, got ahold of this after I heard eyes of a stranger in middle school through BMG tape club. Have never been able to put it down. The theatrics, duel guitars, let’s go again!
