Hi, I have been making maps using html files. So I have an outline then I create separate blocks within that outline. after I have added pins for different things. For about Two years my maps where working but in the past few weeks all of my pins have stopped working and I am at a loss. Can you help?

How can we customize our basemap style in the public Google Maps app? The newest style makes it harder to distinguish between parks and rural areas and roads are now less emphasized.

Why can't you make Google Maps platform easy to use like mapbox? It's so difficult to use google maps in stuff like a react js application

You guys somehow managed to make it worse by not adding the Import JSON and preset styles. Good job

For real bro, the old styling wizard even says to go to the new cloud console and import the json, but there is NO option...

I'd like to extend my appreciation to the Google Maps development team for their work. While I value the simplicity of being able to search for nearby places and display them on a map using just a few lines of code, I've encountered some challenges when working with the Places Search API. As a developer, I've come to realize that searching for places and displaying them on a map are distinct tasks.
To illustrate, consider a scenario where I want to search for supermarkets near a specific address. In this case, all I need is the latitude and longitude of the address, the 'supermarket' type, and optionally, a radius. It becomes evident that I don't necessarily require a div element with an 'id' of 'map' for such operations.
As a workaround, I've chosen to use GeoApi as a replacement. I hope that the Google Maps team can take this feedback into consideration and consider revising the code to enhance the overall developer experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
