I missed out on one for $1200 a little while back..and just FYI check the playfield hanger screws they can back out and contact the trough switch and cause issues.. had it happen on my LW3 and it was causing random solenoids to fire and ball trough issues
Biggest issues are always like this: Leaky Batteries creates issues on logic board, ice cold header pins and relays on the PCB's, leaky capacitors, burned Molex pins. Then, loose/missing screws, ugly upkicker assemblies, flipper rebuilds. Of course, on this machine, Rocky slider is usually bad.
@@thegerm574 snag it for 2K if it's all there and works. There will be some preliminary things to do on Data East if they haven't been done already. Including the fuse clips I mention in this series.
I don't know the exact definition but I would say that the VUK is when the ball is ejected to the playfield whereas the super VUK ejects to a higher segment of the game i.e. wireform or a second playfield.

Nice couple of easy fixes. I thought it was the vuk jam when it spat them out. Interested to see the work on the back box movement.

@@CaryHardy The Super VUK has a microswitch that closes when a ball is sitting on the cap, the regular VUK assembly doesn't.
