Why do you think watered-down, cookie-cutter, soulless Pop-R&B and ratchet music is dominating the charts and radio right now? It's all a part of their agenda, to dumb everything down and poison your minds. Don't forget that Luther Vandross and Keith Sweat were at the top of their games in eras (80's & 90's) when the internet didn't exist, which meant the record companies were making a lot of money and therefore had large budgets to create, develop and nurture legends. Those days are sadly over, that's why R&B is more of an underground scene now. But just because it's not in the mainstream charts anymore alongside Beyoncé and Rihanna, that doesn't mean it's dead or not thriving. They're just not making the same millions that they used to be able to, but that's the price of integrity.
