Here in the "States," we call your "kettle pail" a "cut bucket." I use two different size cut buckets, a small and a large, based on whether I'll be rolling with a 4" roller approximately the same time as I'm running the brush work. Both my cut buckets have liners and the liners are absolute game changers! You didn't mention liners during your video, but I see you've referenced them in the comments. 🏴☠️🏴☠️
I just use a 4lt tin with a horizontal ding in the side to load up the mini roller. Find more comfortable to use for prolonged periods, this prudy version looks decent tho.
Here in the states I have both Purdy Paint Pail and the Wooster Pelican Paint Pail, the Purdy edges out the Wooster on a ladder because of the loop although the Wooster is smaller and less cumbersome. Side note I noticed the separate hot and cold taps on the bathroom sink. Will the UK ever adopt mixing taps? Like the ones we have in the US. 😂
Wooster speed bucket is better , more working room.

Dear master, I like this product very much, but unfortunately it is not available in my country. :( I can't come to your country; I watched your video so much that now you can send me one as a gift, there is no other way :)
The Purdy roller is way too long. I switch to a standard roller frame which gives me a few more inches of paint. Also, the liners are a must because it’s not the easiest thing to clean out. Other than that I really like it.
@@JBTV Nuts, just purchased one. Saw the liners were $2.00 each, so passed on them. Am I correct you use the liners once, then toss them? Seems a little extravagant. Is the pail really that hard to hose out?
The purdy mini 4” roller handle is just too long and sits in any considerable paint. The pail is also just too narrow so the paint will und up riding up the brush and eventually on your hand. 2/10
Good video mate and happy new year
Cheers John, happy New year to you too 👍

What cut bucket do you recommend for a full 4 inch roller. Not a slim 4 inch roller.
Worth getting the liners, save cleaning it out, especially for oils
Very good review

Haha, yes we do have mixer taps too 😄
I like the way you can hold it both ways, whereas the Wooster pelican or speed bucket is one or the other
Will only a purdy roller frame fit in hole
goodman, good vid. i think ill buy this yoke, it will be great for doors
The roller can actually sit on the two ridge type things inside the pail, meaning you can fill it with more paint
Looks great for rope access paint jobs.. if only this was available in Europe.
Can you get a liner for it?
Yes you can, I realised after publishing the video that I forgot to mention the liners
NOOICE!
Why not use a liner?

Yep I agree, not the easiest to clean 😭

@@0rnery I didn't know how expensive they are, I will just continue to clean it out best I can after each use
