After months of strong encouragement from friends and family to get Baby O a haircut we finally gave in.
While in town for the weekend (Killeen, TX) , we took our boy to Inspired Designs Barbershop on Stan Schlueter.. As we waited, Dad (Steve) observed the impressive work of Beaut on her client that sat in her chair before us. Her focus and great attention to detail on Black hair gave him the comfort he needed to know that she knew how to “chop”. The girl is amazing at what she does. She was careful, sweet and precise.
We were incredibly proud of our boy! He sat calmly through the entire haircut and Beaut mentioned that he was the most well behaved 1 Year Old/First Haircut that she has done in her entire career.
As handsome as he looks, the milestone was affirmation that our baby O is growing up. Since his hair cut I (Mommy) catch myself staring at him in disbelief how big my boy has gotten in a year.
Note: I asked for permission to film the haircut.

He did so good and props to the barber, she was so gentle and patient with him.

Joyner D He was 15 months/ One year’s old in this video. I believe she was wearing a mask due to her allergies. We decided to go to the barbershop because we preferred a tapered cut for him and Pediatrician gave us the green light to give him a hair cut. I guess whether to take your son to the barbershop or just trim it depends on the type of style you want him to have.

@@productivecitizen2066 I let a white man cut my son hair once and it was the worst cut ever 😓 I’m still upset about it and he knew he did a crappy job when he said it was free 😒 my son was sitting still the whole time so it was no excuse... I went there because his regular barber was booked and all the other shops were closed except for the one in the mall which so happened to have only a white barber there that day 😫

His hair doesn't bring grown doesn't make a difference. It's the sharpness of the clippers, her touch, and sensitivity of his tender skin. I don't like giving line ups to babies. But I have a set of detailers set specifically for kids.
