My old buddy Rob, known him for 30 years, came by and said his fuses kept blowing..and asked if i had a "40 amp" for him. I took one look at his system and knew i had to do something. I fixed him up and got him on the road. I told him, when i have time, i will go through and fix all this stuff for you. It's BAD. REAL Bad. In a funny way. I guess he got it mostly like this. I don't know who is responsible for the bucket o' bass but i HAD to share this with you guys. Make sure to subscribe and hit like if you think i should hook Rob up proper and fix this for him.
EDIT: Almost 8 months later and his system is still kicking ass! I promised him i would upgrade him if he took good care of it. And he did! So this is what i rewarded him with! :)

Ok guys, instead of getting my boy some level 2's and calling it a day, i got him level 3's. I want him to have the best (within reason)...but by doing this, they are now UNDERPOWERED. The bass amp is only 1500 watts. The subs can handle 900RMS each. So these subs are just cruising. Maybe we will upgrade his bass amp someday...hit like if i should. This thing might just do a 150 on 3,000-4,000 watts which would be awesome on that low of power! This build series is one of my favorite. Being able to make someone else happy is one of the greatest feelings in the world and you can absolutely see it when Steve is working on this truck. Congratulations to Rob... even though I don’t know you, I’m 100% positive you deserve it. Hats off to your work, Steve!

Steve my man, I remember turning 16 years old, got my first car and all I could do was eat sleep and breath was sound equipment. I had an 18” FI audio ssd on an audio pipe 3500w amp and it was like a dream come true. Shortly after I ended up clapping the ssd and with little pay I wasn’t able to get a recone. Found out later on my parents took them to the dump thinking they were no good 😔I’m now 22 years old and also a hard working father of my (almost) 7 month old child. No bass in my set up right now and I am not looking for a hand out by any means but hell, I would make sure those subs would be put to good use in a great home! Love the vids man, keep it up! 🤘🏼

I've been around since the phone book video and I always show my friends your 18's blowing that phonebook into a million pieces. You've inspired me to get into car audio and have made it clear to me that a good installation will get you much better sound and volume out of your system. Thank you steve! I would love to try one of those DC's in a box built by me, and a super clean install in my 2001 Ram. Keep up the great work! I'll be getting some SMD equipment in the near future.

Man I’m like the biggest act audio person I know. I use to have 4 dB drive 12’s in an explorer. But times got hard. Had to sell everything for like $200. I would love to win those subs, and get back into the music. But honestly, just meeting you or having u shout ya boy out just saying what’s up, would be better than that. And trust, I love my music. I really appreciated what you did for your friend Rob. I know how it feels to hook your friends up with killer beats. I started back in 92 and still doing it from time to time. I got a 2012 pilot that needs beat just need some subs to go with my Giant Audiobahn flamed amps and Petras QS1!! you where the man that got me into car audio I started with 1 pioneer 12 on an old school Memphis 500 watt amp then I got 2 10s from planet audio with a hifonics amp because I was on a very tight budget and now I have a wolfram 15 on a skar rp2000 amp and it get loud and low I would love to get one of those dc level 1s you're the man Mr.Meade

This is the first time i have commented on youtube in probably about 5 years and you have deserved this one. You deserve every bit of success you are getting and the good deeds that you do just show that. Im not sure how long ive been subscribed to both your instagram and youtube but its been at least a few years. I daily drive an old 70s jeep cherokee back and forth to school that i put some older jbl subwoofers in and would love for a chance to win even one of the DC subwoofers for a well needed upgrade. I’m actually in the process of buying 5 12’s for two of my vehicles. 3 are for my 165” Ford Excursion Limousine and 2 for my 180” Lincoln Town Car limousine. Shit it’s hard in this limo business so I wanted to stay ahead of the game and upgrade the system on the Excursion and add som bass to the Town Car.
If We’d win I’d add all four to the Excursion to blow everyone’s mind. I appreciate all your videos and your product line of test equipment.
