Why are they using what sounds like a UK dub? I know they probably can't afford to get Jackie Chan back to voice Sun Wukong (or Dasheng as he's known here for some reason), but the other voice actors who were involved with the original dub aren't exactly too high-profile or expensive.

Japanese translate Sun Wukong to Son Goku. Also Goku from Dragon Ball is based off of Sun Wukong/Son Goku. Hopefully this doesn’t confuse you..

Sun Wukong is his name. Dasheng is a title he gave to himself. But why don’t they call him Wukong or even bring up Tripitaka? What kinda story is this? They don’t even have his outfit right

Apparently it means Great Sage in Chinese, since that's the title Sun Wukong took for himself eventually.

Wasn't expecting Liuer to be voiced by Maria Darling (she voiced Luke Triton from the Professor Layton series in the UK version)
