Yes rob halford can sing like that and he can hold those notes! I've seen them live more than once and they are amazing

Allright for you Harri! Always looking into great music. The entire Painkiller album has one great song after another. An awesome band to see live. Rob Halford's voice really sounds that way. I saw him in a band called Fight, after he left Priest, in the early 90's and yes, he can and does sing this incredibly well. Multiple concerts as well, that is the voice. Minimal effects, or cheating. Party on Harri! William.

That singer, Rob Halford is super famous and is called the Metal God by a lot of his fans. They are and have been a top tier Metal band since the 70’s. Very well known and established. They are one of THE BANDS. And Rob is well known for his vocal capabilities. One of the all time best.

To be honest, this is probably one of Priest’s heaviest songs. One of my favorites, too. Other excellent songs by them include Exciter, Nostradamus, The Hellion/Electric Eye, and Screaming For Vengeance. That doesn’t include their biggest hits such as Breaking The Law, Living After Midnight, You’ve Got Another Thing Coming, and Turbo Lover. Huge catalog. You won’t run out of material from them very easily.
On a side note, Rob Hanford is an insanely good vocalist, and the only one worth talking about when it comes to Judas Priest.

Wow great reaction, these are the metal masters. These guys are the British metal gods that America claimed as their own. The metal god- Rob Halford, has so many tones, ways he sings, just amazing. So much to listen to Try the Sentnel live from Fuel for life. Their radio hits are Youve Got Another Things Coming, Living After Midnight, Breaking the Law.

Saw them live 18 times. If there’s anything you want to know about them I can probably answer you. By the way I live in one of their favorite cities they really liked to visit on tour. San Antonio, TEXAS. We go back to day one with these guys. A huge Rock audience here. We were famous through out the industry and all the bands knew it. We were a great audience if you put out. Then they just fell in love with the city, not just the fans. Several big bands felt that way about us. It was super cool and we damn proud of it! Some bands would book extra days if they could just to hang out and enjoy the city. SCORPIONS and RUSH to name two who did this.

18 times! Had to take off my glasses and clean them🤣😂 Wow! You must know the band more than they know themselves!

@@HarriBestReactions, back in the day we called ourselves the Heavy Metal capital of the world. I have an insane stupid ridiculous long list of bands and concerts I’ve seen live. Looking back, it almost seems unreal to me now. But I did it. It’s basically all I did in the 80’s. I quit jobs to go to shows! Ok, you want a taste? Here’s just a partial list: (I swear this is real) RUSH 18 times, PANTERA 6 times, IRON MAIDEN 18 times, QUEENSRYCHE 21 times, AC⚡️DC 6 times, METALLICA 6 times, MEGADETH 7 times, PINK FLOYD 3 times, YES 7 times, JETHRO TULL 6 times, MOTLEY CRUE 6 times, DEEP PURPLE 7 Times. BLACK SABBATH 4 times, OZZY 5 times, DIO 7 times. It goes on and on man. Like I said it’s a stupid ridiculous list. I was around when these bands first started and first toured here and I kept going to their shows so that’s how I’ve seen so much. I started when they started. Plus it was a lot cheaper in those days. That and every band came through my city every tour so that was convenient. I actually have to sit down and try to remember all of it just to list some of them. It was a different time and it was bad ass. We would be blazing high and slightly drunk as the standard. The house lights would go down and everyone started cheering and then you might get a tap on your shoulder from someone passing a lit joint to you. This was commonplace. You took a hit or two and passed it down the row. You could watch how far it got by watching the lit cherry end of it. People rolled whole cigarette packs worth of joints just for this purpose. At the end of the concert when the lights came back on, you’d see this big smoke cloud hanging in the middle of the arena. Ahh... good times. I joke about the time machine and how it would fuck you guys up. It would be great for me! I’d laugh my ass off watching you guys freak the fuck out. It was a thing for damn sure! So if I recommend a song, you can take it to the bank! I guarantee that man! I don’t recommend bad music ever! I already said this one in a different comment but here goes again, JUDAS PREIST, Riding On The Wind off the Screaming For Vengeance album. It’s a pure old fashioned ass kicker and one of their best songs.✌️

yes, JD did this. they began one of the first waves of metal...
but in the late 80's to begin 90's they were getting over shadowed by newer band who played faster and harder, so they made a statement that they were still able to go faster and harder than anyone and this was the result

It’s his real voice, with Loads of effects , that’s just how metal is
I sing in a Judas Tribute band, and we cover this one, and many others.
Singing this one is quite challenging, for a baritone, but it can be done.
If you want to know the best (arguably) JP or Halford, check out the song Silent Screams, on the Live Insurrection album.

Do Judas is Rising by Judas Priest, and Hellion/Electric Eye! That is how Rob Halford really sings. He’s just as good live. Even in 2019 he was really good.
Also, Black Sabbath War Pigs is a good place to go.

You said "baptism of fire", and that remembered me about Manowar -"Heart Of Steel". Please react to it (it's slow, melodic heavy metal). Or to "Crown And The Ring" ("Lament Of The King")

It was fun to watch you enjoy Painkiller. From the types of music you said you like check out a band called Fishbone, they have done a cover called "them bones" a great track.

Don’t react to Painkiller because others did. Horrible song to react to from Priest. Try Desert Plains, Heading out to the Highway, you got another thing coming, Electric Eye etc etc etc
