- ethnographique.org - Here is pt. 3 of the first edition of A Conversation: Video Series. This edition is on Palo Mayombe with Tata Frank Lords. I am posting the video in three segments. The full video can be found on my blog: ethnographique.....
The interview was held on June 16, 2012 in his Munanso in Miami, Florida. Tata Frank is a very knowledgeable Palero and was very gracious in allowing this interview, as well as the accompanying photo spread. The complete photo shoot can be found in the image library: library.ethnogr....
Nsala malekum Nsambia mpungo akutare Tata. I 100% agree, Unity in Palo is needed now. Bring the tribe back together and elevate Palo to its rightful position.
This guy just made a fan.....I hope he makes more videos
Nsala Malecum: First, we need a, "Love" button for this presentation. Second, "Thank you," Panama Slim for posting this informative video. Third, I'm gonna need to hear more of Tata Frank, or more presentations like this. Totally, Loved It.
Kiambote :o)
Truthfully tata frank I'm a devout follower of Haitian Voodoo , Roman Catholicism and Santa Muerte and I also believe in Satan but I don't worship him and I don't want to fight that man because I've seen what he can do. You see tata Frank people calling my other two religions devil worship is very detesting to me and you were right if I can follow Haitian Voodoo as a vodouist me a devout catholic and a devout Santa Muerte and my best friend being a man who follows The Cherokee faith as part of our heritage then why can't we get along. You were definitely right about unity though Tata Frank thank you for sharing this amazing knowledge.
tata frank is right the people of ifa and the people of palo should work together to help people
I have a lot of respect for this Tata. Thank you for spreading the beauty of this religion and tradition.
great point on the doctor comparison
@Bembesito truthful yet very specific of Him. Listen bembesito personally I never meant to sound like I knew everything about African diaspora I am still trying to get the hang of it because I'm the very first in my family to practice Haitian Voodoo and I can't find a lot of precise / accurate information on my religion or that of any African diaspora that's accurate accept for that of Wikipedia and only a tiny hand full of sites that actually do know what they're talking about. It's taking me awhile to regain my physical health and I hope you really don't dislike me because I respect the holy hell out of you but I want to still learn about as much information about African diaspora as I can. Anyways stay strong be safe and keep doing the educational and cool videos you do Buddy.
Thank you! We all need to find a way to connect with Nature, for ourselves and the sustainability of the earth.
Especially now with COVID in 2020, teaching us we need to work together, not fight against each other . Ase ooo 🙏💜🌷
This music is simply gorgeous. I almost feel as if I understand it. It takes me to peace, a simple place. You can feel the genuine sense of respect and love as the song and drums dance with each other. Bless you beautiful man for sharing. So well spoken. I’m still in shock how these rhythms and words entered my soul❤️
Love him
Word!!! Thanks Tata
We may have subtle differences in ATR but we should still be united
I really like this guys spirit!
A real stand up guy...straightforward, believable and articulate.
I am always told in readings im connected to this from birth, but feel hesitant from things that look a little erie to me, but luckily years ago i was temporarily a part of a house of santeria, a god mother, saw seances, learned about eggun etc.
So, i leaned how since slave trade we been cut off from this, and these things deliberately demonized and such.
So there is still the little fear there, but not so much as someone completly unknowledgable to this...
Either way I'm open to the truth if whatever path will align me with my highest power!
Thank you, I am currently looking for my contemporary in Palo mayimbe.
African proverb""""You can not go to the jungle cut off a branch of a magical tree take this stick home give it an Alter feed this stick give it a name and worship this stick without first knowing that you are greater than it """"belief in self"""" the greatest African priests believe in self this means those who are the most unique and original in Africa are the most admired,,, I believe that is true I believe if we accept each other and admire our differences instead of criticizing each other we could create a culture in were the most original and unique priests would have the highest honors as long as they coincide with our traditions in tact every Nganga is different and every Palero is different but at the same time we're all the same those who are frauds are easily spotted the belief in self is what we're known for agongoroti cada quien con lo suyo
Damn, good set of interviews...really hits the nail on the head as far as the current problems concerned with indigenous/roots spirituality/religion indeed as far as i'm concerned its one in the same...respect breaks barriers and bad vibes...the world knows not the impact of respect. propers peace.
Thank you for such a great interview and informative. People need to learn rather than judge.
The reason for non unification lie within the egoes petty impulses of jealousies, produce rejection of it by individual self understanding that leads to these egotistical jealousies freedom through the individuals self forgiveness and it's mechanism within will breakdown through this consciousness. Blessed be and big thank you for your openness.
Thanks a bunch! Not sure if I can get more from Tata Frank these days, but I will most certainly have more presentations in the future!
Indeed! Mutual respect needs to be continually fostered between Tata Nkisi as well as with other branches of African Diaspora religious traditions. Thanks for the comment.
Indeed! We are all init to win it!
I love his style need to be United I agree with this tata completely God bless him
I great ethnographic interview of Tata Frank
I appreciate your sentiment. Finding ways for our various cultural expressions to work together will, in the end, benefit us all.
THIS is a good interview. Thank you for sharing
This is So True...I wish More people would come together On the belief that without our UNci Maka(GrandMOther Earth) We will no longer be.Unci Maka Is what sustains us in this Life..So There for we need to love her nourish her and Take care of all Life....in our universe...How can we be excepted in any other Universe if we don't love and appreciate this one,,, Mitakuye Oyasin(we are all related)
You are very correct! Thanks for watching the videos!
Absolutely he is
Love this documentary great job
I agree with the statement Tata Frank priest in this religion need to focus more on whats important then focusing on petty things. Tata nkisis should respect one another and unify instead of gossiping and attack one anothers character.
Can he make more videos? I like his stories.
Thank you for viewing the videos. I appreciate the feedback.
Your Religion Is very Beautiful Much similar to American Indian Spirituality.....
Nature And "Balance".......
I'm personal a voodooist and I'd like to say that us followers of the African diaspora are so thankful that we have people like you who understand and appreciate our religions and recognize the good in them. Personally Ms if I hope I meet you someday and become friends and not only that but personally @dollyyoungbear I wish that all people were like you - Open minded , beautiful , kind , and Understanding. You have a beautiful profile (for TH-cam) picture and personally the first blessing spell I'm gonna cast is to you because you recognized the beauty of African diaspora rather than downgrade it. Stay blessed be safe and I hope you have a wonderful life here on Earth

I know where Tata Frank is coming from - christians believe that their way is the only way then priests and followers of Christianity down grade Palo Mayombe , Haitian Voodoo (my religion) , Santeria etc.
and it angers me and me personally I don't believe in God or the devil or have faith in the saints that represent my gods! But does that make me a bad personal - No!.
Alot of us followers of African diaspora are very good people - We can use black magic to heal protect ourselves/people we love/ we can bless the dolls in my religion. No African diaspora religion will never be evil unless we give in to evil and temptation because black magic in any religion can be used for good rather than just evil and we don't have to curse people or whatever because in my religion we can create zombies to build and construct or to use bodyguards against physical threats (Human beings and animals) and people need to understand no African diaspora religion has nothing but pure negativity. My gods have helped me everytime I called upon them for help , I'm very open about my religion and i will defend my religion and it's positive side until the end. This man is a good hearted man and he's trying to live right and wants to do what's right.
Thank you Tata Frank for trying to help others into realizing that misunderstood religions deserve more respect and that Christians who do believe that need to back Off
Donde estas ubicado
thats right bro, thats the flaw of a human bein enstead of grouth and sharen houses humans tend to see a test of force or who has what , and how much u know, really kills da beauty of this.
Peace Baba is it possible to receive a reading from the brother Frank ???
His instagram is obafranklords
How can I get a hold of tata frank?
If still needed I have his info
What can you say about Adolfo Constanzo? A Palero Padrino who took it to the next level and fed his nganga human sacrifices?
Because he wasn't careful with the house he got into Bro. There are actual satanic Paleros and Paleras and priests of Palo Mayombe who do misunderstand it. They ruin everything devil worshipers I was once a Palero myself but because of extreme memory loss I can't remember much about it but I got lucky with an open house that was open that wasn't satanic at all.
How can i get in contact with you frank
If still needed I have his info
@@protrippyjustinx6217 I also would like to have his contact info
Why do paleros wear kufis?
I agree with him. The patimpembas and such should remain behind closed doors and not recorded. But information, CORRECT information, should be disseminated to educate people.
How can I get a reading from this person very knowledgeable ty
His instagram is obafranklords
.I love your Ideas Of coming together..The best thing to do right now is educate because this is were our problem sit...MitakuyeOyasin.(we are all related)
Mitakuye Oyasin
Dolly Youngbear ashe ,Lakota?
❤️
I want to learn
ase!
I think hes hit the point in his final thoughts. A large majority of our religions argue to much.
how can you contact him
If still needed I have his info
Tata,
How can I contact you for a reading, help in life?
Steve
If still needed I have his info
Too much arguing and not enough cooperating!
Panama Slim question out of curiosity... in the first part he mentioned he felt like it was hell when he entered the room... why?... please excuse my ignorance... I'm just curious.
His final thoughts are very true. The Elders are allows fight about who knows more and who was in the religion longer. Its very corny if you ask me. There is no unity in the African-syncratic religions. I find that even "Gift" Alayos are scorned for being talented meduims & such.
Nsala Malecum
Can you teach me
If you needed his info I have it
tata nganga con zarcillos ???????
With all due respect the people who should not know the secrets are presidents, kings and queens.
i'm in ifa and that palo, vodou, obeah, and shango all basically come from the same root, AFRICA
john washington NO FUCKING SHIT. I THOUGHT IT WAS CHINA! I mean wow.
Ase

Aint thatvthe truth we need to cut the crap and get back to the basics
You need Jesus Christ my brother
Dude they teach Jesus Christ in Palo Mayombe.
JESUS said I am the way the truth and the life ! NO ONE comes to the father ( GOD ) but through me !!
Julian Tellez Fuck off. Palo and the other Afro-Caribbean religions are way more meaningful and true than Christianity could ever hope to be.
Preach for we will be hated and called all matter of names for his namesake
Then stay yo ass over there and shut da fuck up
Let Jesus go fuck himself.palo me say.dont need no white man GOD.
I think it’s crazy how we as children from slavery and genocide still cling to the beliefs that the masters have instilled in us. I don’t feel that we should come at Jesus, chango, Buddha or allah etc.... we are all connected and aim to reach the divine in our own ways . Instead of using bible verses like bullets why don’t you connect with these “sinners” and see that we all want and came from the same source. Earth and spirit
