  • ethnographique.org - Here is pt. 3 of the first edition of A Conversation: Video Series. This edition is on Palo Mayombe with Tata Frank Lords. I am posting the video in three segments. The full video can be found on my blog: ethnographique.....
The interview was held on June 16, 2012 in his Munanso in Miami, Florida. Tata Frank is a very knowledgeable Palero and was very gracious in allowing this interview, as well as the accompanying photo spread. The complete photo shoot can be found in the image library: library.ethnogr....

Truthfully tata frank I'm a devout follower of Haitian Voodoo , Roman Catholicism and Santa Muerte and I also believe in Satan but I don't worship him and I don't want to fight that man because I've seen what he can do. You see tata Frank people calling my other two religions devil worship is very detesting to me and you were right if I can follow Haitian Voodoo as a vodouist me a devout catholic and a devout Santa Muerte and my best friend being a man who follows The Cherokee faith as part of our heritage then why can't we get along. You were definitely right about unity though Tata Frank thank you for sharing this amazing knowledge.

@Bembesito truthful yet very specific of Him. Listen bembesito personally I never meant to sound like I knew everything about African diaspora I am still trying to get the hang of it because I'm the very first in my family to practice Haitian Voodoo and I can't find a lot of precise / accurate information on my religion or that of any African diaspora that's accurate accept for that of Wikipedia and only a tiny hand full of sites that actually do know what they're talking about. It's taking me awhile to regain my physical health and I hope you really don't dislike me because I respect the holy hell out of you but I want to still learn about as much information about African diaspora as I can. Anyways stay strong be safe and keep doing the educational and cool videos you do Buddy.

This music is simply gorgeous. I almost feel as if I understand it. It takes me to peace, a simple place. You can feel the genuine sense of respect and love as the song and drums dance with each other. Bless you beautiful man for sharing. So well spoken. I’m still in shock how these rhythms and words entered my soul❤️

I really like this guys spirit!
A real stand up guy...straightforward, believable and articulate.
I am always told in readings im connected to this from birth, but feel hesitant from things that look a little erie to me, but luckily years ago i was temporarily a part of a house of santeria, a god mother, saw seances, learned about eggun etc.
So, i leaned how since slave trade we been cut off from this, and these things deliberately demonized and such.
So there is still the little fear there, but not so much as someone completly unknowledgable to this...
Either way I'm open to the truth if whatever path will align me with my highest power!

The reason for non unification lie within the egoes petty impulses of jealousies, produce rejection of it by individual self understanding that leads to these egotistical jealousies freedom through the individuals self forgiveness and it's mechanism within will breakdown through this consciousness. Blessed be and big thank you for your openness.

African proverb""""You can not go to the jungle cut off a branch of a magical tree take this stick home give it an Alter feed this stick give it a name and worship this stick without first knowing that you are greater than it """"belief in self"""" the greatest African priests believe in self this means those who are the most unique and original in Africa are the most admired,,, I believe that is true I believe if we accept each other and admire our differences instead of criticizing each other we could create a culture in were the most original and unique priests would have the highest honors as long as they coincide with our traditions in tact every Nganga is different and every Palero is different but at the same time we're all the same those who are frauds are easily spotted the belief in self is what we're known for agongoroti cada quien con lo suyo

Personally Ms if I hope I meet you someday and become friends and not only that but personally @dollyyoungbear I wish that all people were like you - Open minded , beautiful , kind , and Understanding. You have a beautiful profile (for TH-cam) picture and personally the first blessing spell I'm gonna cast is to you because you recognized the beauty of African diaspora rather than downgrade it. Stay blessed be safe and I hope you have a wonderful life here on Earth

I know where Tata Frank is coming from - christians believe that their way is the only way then priests and followers of Christianity down grade Palo Mayombe , Haitian Voodoo (my religion) , Santeria etc.
and it angers me and me personally I don't believe in God or the devil or have faith in the saints that represent my gods! But does that make me a bad personal - No!.
Alot of us followers of African diaspora are very good people - We can use black magic to heal protect ourselves/people we love/ we can bless the dolls in my religion. No African diaspora religion will never be evil unless we give in to evil and temptation because black magic in any religion can be used for good rather than just evil and we don't have to curse people or whatever because in my religion we can create zombies to build and construct or to use bodyguards against physical threats (Human beings and animals) and people need to understand no African diaspora religion has nothing but pure negativity. My gods have helped me everytime I called upon them for help , I'm very open about my religion and i will defend my religion and it's positive side until the end. This man is a good hearted man and he's trying to live right and wants to do what's right.
Thank you Tata Frank for trying to help others into realizing that misunderstood religions deserve more respect and that Christians who do believe that need to back Off

Because he wasn't careful with the house he got into Bro. There are actual satanic Paleros and Paleras and priests of Palo Mayombe who do misunderstand it. They ruin everything devil worshipers I was once a Palero myself but because of extreme memory loss I can't remember much about it but I got lucky with an open house that was open that wasn't satanic at all.

I think it’s crazy how we as children from slavery and genocide still cling to the beliefs that the masters have instilled in us. I don’t feel that we should come at Jesus, chango, Buddha or allah etc.... we are all connected and aim to reach the divine in our own ways . Instead of using bible verses like bullets why don’t you connect with these “sinners” and see that we all want and came from the same source. Earth and spirit
