My sister and I stayed in a Wigwam Motel in Holbrook, AZ. Looked just like that. Only problem we had no heat and it was like 38 degrees outside. But it was still pretty cool. They had two old cars that sat outside of each wigwam. Very interesting!
That's such a cool place. One of the other people I follow just went there. Yep, space is at a minimum, totally understandable. How many people have spent the night in such a structure? 👏👏
I know I have seen one wigwam along 44 in Missouri. Not sure if it's the only one or there are more. But, I do appreciate watching your down to earth styles and travels. Thank you for your efforts
There is a Wig Wam Village Motel along old Route 66 on the city lines of Rialto and San Bernardino, California. I have driven through where it is and seen what it was like there. I would to try it out to stay in but sometimes other things and priorities get in the way. The place was used in some movies and tv shows too, one movie I remember it in was “Crazy Mama” with Choris Leachman and an early movie that Johnathan Demme directed and produced by Roger Corman.

Working here southeast of Houston. The town of Wharton has Tee Pee Motel. Ten units. Pretty cool.
