- Caitlyn Franciskovich manager at Lake Chabot Marina & Café gives us a mini tour of their boat rentals and a taste of the Lake Chabot Regional Park. From the Marina to Live Oak Island to The Lake Chabot dam built in 1874-1875 with little visitors along the way. Rentals are first come first serve basis right now. During the summer the rentals are open everyday. Save time by filling out boat rental form online. @East Bay Regional Parks are beautiful. You can also get a @regionalparksfoundation parking pass for all EBRP parks for a year. Boat rentals range from 28 to 99 an hour with breaks on multiple hours. Lake Chabot also offers fishing, games, picnics and many hikes. When we went on our trip, we got some refreshments at the Cafe and a killer jalapeno tuna sandwich to go. It makes for a great family fun fill day. www.lakechabot...

How far are you from Anthony chabot campground?
I grew up in the Bay Area and lived in Hayward it's been many moons since I've been to Lake Chabot but the lake is on Chabot Road and the campgrounds are on Redwood Road they used to be called Los Chambers not sure if they changed the name but it should probably only be20 minutes if you drive from the campgrounds to Lake Chabot but we used to hike down to the lake from the campgrounds which is very doable
@@scottflores4482 thank you for the reply
I don't think walking distance but a short drive.
