just couple things dont ignore ACES because thats badass and optimized, its industry standard in movies. just never use 1.0...leave it around 0,3 - 0,5 between, it does the job (you can try LOT too. ground control grudge works fine with archviz, but never use 1.0 either) dont desaturate the final image! lower the white balance to 6000 or 5500 at minimum be very careful with highlight compression, and try to play with the lights settings , because however it can help in the burnt out areas, but it also fucks up lots of other things (contrast, colors...) leave it at 1.0, and play with the lights, and textures instead to avoid pure white areas (or, just try sometimes 0,6 or 0,8 if you want to "contrast up" the image without using more contrast....of course it doesnt work most of the time, but its a good thing to know) why dont you use the sun?
Alright, I hear you. But everyone has their own way of doing things, if we all did things the same, the world wouldn’t be interesting, would it? And as for sun, it is not a must to use Corona Sun, The HDRI has sun and that works fine for what I wanna achieve - it is perfectly fine to not use it when you don’t need it. This is art my friend, there’s no one way of doing things, as long as your final image looks as real and as good as you intended. Thank you you for your insightful feedback, will surely try some of the recommendations you made out to see what works for me man.
its more like archviz. art is something where you create not just an atmosphere, but a feeling, a thought. not much thought can be created with an interior render if you want to put a little artistic touch into this render, make the scene (the inner room) an invitation for the viewer, make us feel we want to go in, and not just look into it for a second, and then walk away. the light is way too much in the hall (or what is that), I want to see the olive skirting board on the left as dark color as the right. I want to feel balanced standing in the hall, and curious. put some dry decoration flower in a pot, to the hall, close to the wall (and the skirting board), in a moderately large size, put it in the right side of the render it will give a little bit more depth to the image and a sleeping dog, or a sitting cat near the bed or the couch (the couch feels better) and there you go, there is a little art in a 3d render now. @@SimpleorDifficult
Thank you so much for the video! Do you know to set the DPI or resolution of the image? It looks quite pixelated even my rendered image size was 1980x1080. Thanks
Great Tutorial for beginners like me bro. But i have an issue where i cant edit any color in Physical/Legacy material using "Corona Improved Color Selector". Like if i change the Temperature value from 3000k to 6000k of diffuse color for eg. It just goes back to Default 3000k after pressing "OKAY". I hope you understood the problem 😅. Waiting for a reply...
Maybe change it back to the default colour picker, changing the temperature of a material seems a bit odd. Light Color tint and LightMix in Corona VFB (all has to do with light) feature the improved color picker by default with a range of useful improvements over the standard 3ds Max selector. One of the main improvements is the Additional Temperature selection method. However, colour selection method is handy when working with lights, you can use the default colour for material, as you saw me do in the video.
To switch back to default- Go to Customize > Preferences > General tab Under UI Display > Color Selector pick "default colour Picker" from the dropdown list

I have a question : Is there any difference between corona legacy and corona physical material for material rendering? cause some other tutorials advise to use the new physical material.
Corona Physical materials are more recent, advanced and physically accurate material system. Yes, but I use legacy materials because I’m already used to it and they offer simpler controls and options for creating materials which in my own opinion and experience are still physically accurate
Hello, I have a doubt, in the minute 25 when you start to set the floor refraction glossiness with the color correction and the output you can see the refraction of the sofa and other staf in the floor but in my case I only get a pure black floor or mate floor I don't know if someone had the same issue or someone know how to get the same result, thanks!
Please how do I set the interface to make it easy, just like in revit and autocad there are things you do to make it easy for beginners And what other plug-ins do I need to download
