It would be amazing if we could ever actually construct such a telescope. I am currently more optimistic about the potential for space interferometry, using a swarm of smaller space telescopes widely spread out to act as one telescope. It would be similar in concept to the Event Horizon Project, except on a much larger scale. And it would potentially create the largest effective resolution power of which we could ever be capable.
Maybe establish a lunar base on the earth side and connect it with the telescope by a road so that the astronauts can head back if a solar flare was to occur
I think roads would be hard to establish on the moon because the dust gets so polarised. I think better shielding of the base near the telescope would be the key
Definitely a masterpiece, this channel deserves millions of subs ❤
Wonderful video as always.
Loved it! nicely done video...
TH-cam algorithm knows what to recommend ;)
Excellent video.

That’s super exciting, might cover it in a future video 😊
@@SpaceisAce that would be awesome if you did!

Starship's cost of launch into low earth orbit to cost $2million, but for how much mass??
I’d have to double check but I believe it’s full load (150 tons)
$2 million is crazy optimistic.... SpaceX never does a full breakdown on where they find these massive cost savings
