Fiber Cleaver Blade Height Adjustment for SSF Fibers

Cleavers included in SSF termination kits are factory adjusted for use with SSF fibers. Cleerline SSF fiber with its patented integral polymer coating is stronger and more bend insensitive than typical glass fibers. If using a different precision wheel cleaver (not from an SSF kit), in order to cleave SSF fibers your cleaver requires a blade/wheel height adjustment. This video shows the typical procedure required, noting each specific brand of cleaver may vary slightly.
Refer to your individual cleavers instruction manual and reference "Blade/wheel height adjustment" to increase your blade wheel height as required to properly cleaver the more durable SSF fiber.
