I stopped performing this one at my shows. Not because it didn't go over well. But because it's sort of a pain to load and transport the drill press and chop saw. 😀
If you look at the 2:05 mark you can see the rope suspended on it's own. The magic happens when Teller ties a slip knot at the 1:55 mark and hides the knot in the hole. Then when the "Magic" happens the quick tug releases the knot.
How does he make the first rope entry being fake then? At 1:51 he inserts one of the ends. Using a knot doesn't solve the issue with the one end actually going into the cube.
And, for lovers of cute, cuddly and mysterious, there's the time-honored classic "twin puppies escape". Always a crowd favorite. However, large props needed there as well.
@@mortgagefinancing5558 Look carefully at 3:16 thru 3:23 and you'll notice he's not even touching the block its adjacent string. If you know some rope magic, you will be able to discover how the trick is done.

I imagine you were getting through quite a lot of fence posts too.
You don’t even need the block of wood if you just have the drill press and saw lol
😁
Brooke is so great at this, really natural chemistry with the guys
👍 One of my favorites. Thank you, STEVENS MAGIC for resurrecting this 80-year-old charmer! 👍
1:26 slight of hand.
That, and the knot that he ties. I forget what it is called, but's the same way you get a ring on and off a rubber band.
Slice of hand.

Pretty sure the magic is in the wooden box - it has a hole :).
OMG teller made a noise!! hope he is okay that thumb is a real interesting once to put back on!👍🤝👊✊💅👀✊👉🖐
Nice simple trick. It's all in which end he feeds in the second time.
No it isn't. It's about the box having a hole ;).
They woukd never foold themselves in their own show
wanted to know why the host wears the same outfit in every episode
So they can edit stuff together afterwards more easily. Same outfit for the whole season.
They shoot the whole season in a few days I believe. They all wear everything the same so they can create better episodes and split up the foolers
Because she looks fabulous in that outfit! 😍
Rachel Teller
If she fails to learn it, she can always perform the twins escape act. Magic.
I'd watch that

2:46 What kind of stupid magic trick is this. the rope is between his fingers not through the block lol
Not so; you may want ask Brooke if she'll reveal the secret to you...
@@RechtmanDon it's so plain to see get real
