I adore Grand Parade. This version sounds beautiful with a very rich, three dimensional sound, and I’m fascinated with the alternate lyrics. However I miss Hansi’s gorgeously raw voice overlaid with the choir when he sings ‘along we’re driven’ and ‘join the grand parade’ that you can hear in the original version. Thank you for the upload!
The lyrical differences are fascinating, it's as if this version has the perspective flipped, so lines sung by one side of the conflict in the released version are sung by the other here. This is most prominent in the shadow on the wall section.
@@MetallicBlade Well, this was sourced from a vinyl. It's possible that the vinyl mix of Beyond the Red Mirror sounded more like this, I suppose. I don't actually have this album on vinyl, but I want it.
There's a lot more clarity in the orchestral pieces and Hansi's voice. My only complaint of recent releases is the poorly balanced orchestra and this is makes it far better.
i rarely comment on music video, but i have to comment on this one. This one is fucking amazing, i prefer the vocal a bit clearer and slightly louder but it's still astronomically better than the normal one either way

I can hear all the parts more clearly here.
I noticed that the regular version has always sounded really muffled for some reason.

@Hailstrike when the vinyl came out, it was worth close to a thousand dollars and the music store had FUCKING ONE LEFT
Good stuff..happy they revised it for the final release though..final version is damned near perfection

Long Live the Micmaq
Mi'kmaq
not sure why their mixing is always this weird, it sounds so bad sometimes
