Just got done with a board game tournament over the weekend with some friends. Funkoverse was one of the games we played! This is a great game. Great job covering it!
Great explanation. My husband and I really enjoy your videos. Your explanations are always very clear and he appreciates that you don't talk too quickly and are easy to follow. When we play a new game, he always asks "is there a Rodney video for that game?".

Thank you so much for a clear and easy step by step guide. My 11 year old had this for xmas and I havent been able to play it as I didn't understand the instruction. Will look forward to playing it later!
Wow this has to be the best tutorial video I have found. Very straight forward and not much fluff. I seen so many of these videos and I ended up getting more confused. I don't have the Harry Potter set but this video answered many questions that I had. I own the DC Comics 100 and 101. I am definitely going to check out your other videos :-)

Thank you so much!! I thought I had a pretty good understanding of how to play but when it came to trying to explain to people I wanted to plah with it becomes very difficult. Now we can just watch the video before we play!!
This game took me completely by surprise with how good it is. I've gotten into it with my 8 year old daughter. Played 8 games in about a week. Currently have 3 sets with 4 more on the way. Between this, Villainous, Jaws and Horrified, Prospero Hall are becoming one of my favorite designers.
@@VictoryConditionGaming Hi there. We're glad you're excited. We are planning to have more sets release before Back to the Future. We just felt the announcement of that particular set was timely since it was BTTF Day. ;)

Hello, nice video. I had the game since a while but I don’get really what it means when he said, You may choose to return one or more character to your base on the flag rules, it means that I could leave one character to do 2 points on the next turn? Thanks for help
@@WatchItPlayed 15:37 on the Special Scenario Rules section! Thank you.... i ask it again to be more clear, hermione and Harry are both near the flag, example Hermione take the flag and goes back to the base, can Harry stay there near the enemy flag to score again on the next turn??? Thank you
@@andreasaccone8052 Good question - yes, that is my understanding, thought it might be safer to return them both at the same time and get the 4 points all at once (so the enemy doesn't knock you out before you can score that second time).
I don’t understand, when a character is knocked down, can it stay on the board or must go to the table with the numbers? Because if it’s the second one it cannot be assisted isn’t it?
When a character is Knocked Down, they stay on the board and can be assisted. If they lose a challenge while they are Knocked Down, then they become Knocked Out and are removed from the board and can no longer be assisted. Hope that helps.
Trying to understand the rules and ability card for Kool-Aid man. The rulesbook mentions that Kool-Aid man can only be used in a 2-character or a 4-character game. Is that a total count of both players characters and is Kool-Aid man included in the count? Then Kool-Aid man's Trait says, move through a wall using his abilities. I am assuming a basic move, then Kool-Aid man cannot "Bust Through" walls, that correct?
Hey Bill, I'd like to be able to assist, but I don't have the Kool-Aid figure. I only did this video for the Harry Potter version of the game. I do try my best to answer general rules questions about the game, but I have to avoid getting into individual card effects and expansions. I cover too many different games on the channel to get into that level of detail. That said, you might be able to find an answer by posting a question over on the BoardGameGeek forums for that game: boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/303478/funkoverse-strategy-game-kool-aid-man-100/forums/0
Hey there, I'm always happy to try to help with rules questions, but if the answer is provided in the video, than I have to direct you there. You'll find an index in the description to help you find the section you might be looking for. Check the End of the round section.
Is there a rule on how the selection of character works? Ex: whoever is going first also has first pick of character, then alternate? Or playing going second picks first, then alternate? Or someone just picks two at a time, leaving the other player with whatever is left?
There are no specific rules, but you could certainly come up with some that the players feel are fair, if you can't agree on a split that each person wants.

I do by best to answer all rules questions on the games I cover, but I avoid individual card effects/scenarios, as that's a level of detail beyond what I can manage across all the videos I do. I'd suggest checking the rules forum for the game on BoardGameGeek or the publishers website. I hope you can find your answer there - have fun playing!
Thanks for the tutorial. It was super helpful, and I look forward to playing my game soon. Quick question, do the expansions character fit in the initial game box? Or would you keep them separate to have cross theme games available? I have the Golden Girls set too and want to get the Jurassic Park Set when it comes out.
The boxes are pretty full, you might be able to fit more in if you removed the plastic insert - but keeping them separate for cross game-play might be good too :)

If you have enough sets, can you play 8 characters? 10? I'm sure there is a point where it is now longer viable, but I didn't see a hard limit in the rules.
The rules don’t say you can’t, but I generally limit my videos to what they instruct you to do. That said, the nice thing about a board game is that once you own it, you can experiment and try different things!
Hey Raj, I can't tell you where it says that, but if it's in the video, then it's something I either pulled from the rule book, or asked about because it wasn't in the rule book. Either way, the video was checked over by the publisher, so you can be confident the rules here are correct.
Hi Raj, there's some text that eludes to being able to move through a knocked down rival, but we realized it wasn't as clear as it could be. This has since been updated. We'll always try to put the most updated rules on boardgamegeek.com if you're looking!

With all the games I try to cover on the channel, I don't tend to revisit games to cover individual expansions.
Dada apnar moton iq amader to nai so apni e khalun. Btw thanks for this brain exploding video. Pronam apnake 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hope this was helpful!
@@WatchItPlayed yes it was very very very helpful ❤️❤️❤️ thank you so much
Where does it say you can move through a knocked down rival?
Hey Raj, I can't tell you where it says that, but if it's in the video, then it's something I either pulled from the rule book, or asked about because it wasn't in the rule book. Either way, the video was checked over by the publisher, so you can be confident the rules here are correct.
Hi Raj, there's some text that eludes to being able to move through a knocked down rival, but we realized it wasn't as clear as it could be. This has since been updated. We'll always try to put the most updated rules on boardgamegeek.com if you're looking!
@@WatchItPlayed Thanks....I dont know how you do it but no one comes close to your videos. We really think twice about buying a game you haven't covered
