First thing I noticed is that the deck heavily relies on normal summoning for abilities to activate, kinda wish Ancient Gears get more access to special summoning monsters from the hand to bring out Ballista more easily.
I apologize with the low frame rate of the past videos, I just resolved the issue and future videos will be smooth again!
Ancient Gear knows only one thing, and it's beating the ever loving shit out of the other guy. It's so dumb and barbaric, I love it
Howitzer is named "antique gear devil" in Japanese, translated name isn't bad, but man it's original name is way better

I remember my first encounter with Ancient Gear Chaos Giant
4500 ATK, can attack everything, can inflict piercing damage & with the classic Anicent Gear battle phase lock of monster effects plus the Spell & Trap immunity on top made me very worried. I was about to surrender but then, by the power of reading, I learnt it was completely vulnerable to monster effects which removed almost all menace the Giant had
Ancient Gear could use some help. Some actual special summoning would nice alongside some protection would be a start
Ancient Gears definitely needs supports regarding to special summoning monsters from the hand. It would also be better for more extra deck monsters besides Chaos Ancient Gear and maybe an extra deck monster or spell to protect Ancient Gears from card effects. Ballista and Chaos AG is what makes the deck viable in the first place, but considering Ancient Gears do not have any monsters that special summon themselves, this makes us more to rely on other archetypes like Infinitrack to do the job for us

I tried this deck out with some tweaks as i didnt have some cards but having urgent schedule while also taking 2nd turn instead of 1st, just insane with the thigns you can do that result in a 1 turn kill. I Apperciate the deck

Epic! uncle zed I love CHAOS ANCIENT GEAR GIGANT, it's a bug that should give you a protection for monster effects and it will be even cooler with an equipment card or other times the field half defends if you don't kill the opponent
What about dingirsu? To maybe replace number 100. Or could have another alternative.
Also Qliphort genius would fit nicely.

That utopia player had the worse utopia deck in the world 😂😂. Bro could of set up a good 6-8 negates. I’ve ran that deck before big L 😂😭! Great Gears deck as well Zed 😮💨
Is ancient gears kinda like galaxy eyes in the form of they prefer to go second more times than not and otk?
Galaxy Eyes is still good going first (and I prefer going first with Galaxy Eyes), while Ancient Gear would want to go second (if it's pure Ancient Gear). Galaxy Eyes has negates and destruction cards and possible to summon them during at one turn (Number 38, Photon Lord, Solflare, etc.)
It all depends by the main support you want to use, really. The cool thing about machine archetypes is that they all help each other in some ways and that you can mix and match them to create your own unique playstyle.
If you want to mainly use Machina then you should always go first and add cards like Foolish Burial and Machina Overdrive to your deck. Your main objective should be to special summon and dump as many of them in the graveyard as humanly possible before the second turn so that you can abuse their effects more often. They are REALLY good at helping you summon Ancient Gear bosses and it's genuinely a lot of fun, I'd recommend it.
If you want to use Infinitrack then you'll probably want to go second since you'll be able to waste a lot more negates with them.
Trains should be in most of your machine decks regardless, so just pick the ones that fit your playstyle the most.
And Karakuri... I dunno lol they are a bit too complicated for me and I've never actually used them before, but I've heard that they can pull off some nasty first turn combos with Machina and Ancient Gear support.

Considering it's a good negate, as well as it can be searched with Clockwork Night then yes, machine decks love him XD

What if the guy did a triple blackwinged assault dragon? He will still get demolished with a power bonded ancient gear
@@robinHood034 that means you dont know the bw arquetype, i mean since chaos giant can still be affected by monsters effects, so a if bw player dont brick (and its a pure bw deck) like he did, he can end with at least one monster negation and a face up opponent card destruction (both being quick effects), so if at least he didnt missplayed he could get rid of chaos giant :v

@@miguelcervera3377 you didn't need to be defensive about it. Take a look at the bw deck since zed take a ss of every duel. Dude didn't even have one negate monster on his deck, probably running a pure bw deck. Lastly I was talking about triple assault bw, sure zed will maybe take 2100 dmg in the process but there are no negates to stop power bond
