McKenna doesn't set the team up based on who we're playing against, he plays the same system and style every game. It's too predictable for the other managers.
I can understand the Gaffer trying players in different positions and changing players from week to week, as it would help in knowing who can play well in certain positions, at this level. But, it does make us look like strangers on the pitch in alot of games and may affect some players confidence
If we continue to have the crowd departing, when we are just 1 goal down, like there was a bomb warning in the stadium, our Gaffer will be moving on as he knows how important for him and the squad it is, to have the crowd behind the team from the first minute to the last
Good to have Ipswich in the PL but would it have been better to wait a season longer in the Championship and build the squad up in preperation for the PL? Players should not have a complete empty tank after 60 minutes, these are professionals. I hope your scouts are doing their job to bring in the quality that is needed, would be good to see you survive, good luck for the rest of the season 😊
Great pod, I enjoyed the content. I have a Q. Do you think the fault is on McKenna for not seeing the game out by making defensive subs? Once it looked like Town wasn’t going to get a second, maybe park the bus ?
I think the jury has returned a verdict that Mckenna's philosophy/tactics has not transitioned with these players Make a big transfer splash on a 9 or take a chance on an EFL Stricker (perhaps a 10/winger). Put 5 at the back (wingbacks), low block, go direct, hit up set pieces, counter and just go for it!!!!! We'll concede anyway, but these tactics will level the playing field and always have and always will cause the majority of teams’ problems.
🐝💤 fan, keep up the optimism chaps 👍🏼

Our defends will tell you who they want to be in goal if asked.
Andoni actually said they didn't deserve to lose

I fear currently we are a first half team. Where are second half goals going to come from with the bench in its current position.
Rotating Muric and Walton should give them more motivation to keep clean sheets. Muric is complacent knowing he is first choice.
Burgess had to come back into the starting lineup, as he makes less mistakes than Greaves
Just watch wolves vs West ham highlights they are worst than us by the why love the show❤
@@paulbeamish thanks Paul! Appreciate the kind words we are glad you enjoy the show
Hang on to anything I guess . Unless Town can see games out from winning positions get ready for the championship.
Apparently Norwich had 10 points at this point in their last season in the premiership, and they finished rock bottom.
If I can see whats happening, I am sure McKenna can. He have to be brave. Its now or never starting with wolves.
we have to many unfit players ,they last a couple of games then out for a month.Unlucky or not up to this level physically?
seen nothing intimidating in the premier and looking forward to what we can offer, when we get our act together 👍

Get Walton ready to start on Saturday. There is no need to get a new keeper in Jan.
I will play broady than jack clark if he is fit.
