Skinner was a great guest. His energy and enthusiasm were fun and his art is amazing. Some of his work reminds me of the monster stickers we used to collect in the 1970's. Great stuff and perfect for this show. See y'all next week.

Saw this one in the movie theater ( The Allerton in the Bronx N.Y) I was only 10 and it scared the crap out of me. I saw the creature of this movie in ever shadow at night for weeks. Glad you're showing it I can't wait for Saturday night. 👍👍
So far creature features has been getting great movie premieres and I've been enjoying watching them on the weekends I will definitely find out what this movie is about this Saturday evening !

Howdy my friends. I want to thank you the many shows my wife and I have 'enjoyed' over time. We would have been married 43 years this November, spending many of an evening watching your show. Thanks again.

@@seacampeon8729 I'm just thinking, (heh-heh) how the movie poster was deigned for this week's show. It probably went like this: Designer: Hey Rick! What's the title for this week's show? I forgot! This exceptional movie provides just a glimpse at the terrifying genius of Roger Corman. From unique special effects, accurate science, to powerful pulse-pounding fight scenes, it is sure to keep the teens coming to drive-ins for months to come!
Great channel! I'd really dig seeing 1959's 'Invisible Invaders w/ John Agar. I think it's one of the first zombie movies in the truest sense of the genre as it is now.
When people try to excuse that back then not a lot of folks understood the effects of atomic radiation, I like to point out that the novel 'On The Beach' was written around the same time. 😎

Creature from the Black Lagoon not allowed on TH-cam? Yet its allowed on Internet Archives. FYI So is Quartermass and the Pit. 2 great flix. Btw putting The End ! after the introductory credits, shortest movie I have ever seen. What a bomb!
Thanks for the 1950's black and whites. I would disagree with that comment about it being manure. It's not one of Roger Cormans finniest hours but the mutant is interesting and it's not as bad as a few of them I've seen.
I remember seeing this with my friends on a Saturday matinée double feature. It was pretty scary until we actually saw the creature, then we burst out laughing. What’s the one with Lee vanCleef ? The thing comes out of a cave at the end and looks like a big Hoover vacuum cleaner with big eyes and rubber arms. That one made us laugh too.
It Conquered The World! The killer carrot! A rare heroic turn by Lee Van Cleef...surprisingly adult dialogue and situations in that flick, considering the era.
I enjoyed this movie. The only thing that could've made it better would have been Tangella sitting beside me sharing a bowl of chocolate-covered spider moltings and a large cup of chilled owl water.
This would be good as the 2nd half of a "double Creature" Feature, following "Invasion USA" = a cheap 1951 (?) production regarding an aerial invasion from over the North Pole (wink) into Alaska, then San Francisco. Or this could be the 2nd of 3, if adding in "On The Beach" (Gregory Peck, Fred Astaire, Ava Gardner, Anthony Hopkins) brings an Australian theory to the post-nuclear war world. ❤❤🎉😂
For an old movie , this was good from one end to the other. Tangella needs a raise.
Keeping up the good work with the good black and white horror movies. I'm loving it. Much success to you. And thank you. ☠️
