I'm coming to prefer these semi-enclosed outdoor pavilions as the best way to enjoy Tuba Skinny performances. Street busking usually involves all sorts of visual and aural distractions. The band looks and sounds great "in nature."
*Some Cold Rainy Day* is on Tuba Skinny's 2018 CD entitled 'Nigel's Dream'. It was recorded by Bertha 'Chippie' Hill in 1928; and probably composed by Richard M. Jones. Bertha sang it in F. Erika prefers E flat.
A touching performance of the song. Tuba Skinny in the old line-up. Erika hasn't forgotten about TS. Shaye is in a beautiful cup and curls. Gregory and Jason are lacking.
My favorite New Orleans band! I live ther and have the honor of getting to hear them sometimes on the sacred streets of New Orleans. So good.
