I love that wacky seat/post at 6:15. I have no idea if it is practical at all, but it looks like the organic tech from Babylon 5. And those polished parts... and those spokes at 10:28 -- looking for the brand now...
From the big boys, Mavic Ksyrium SL (rather more expensive than the S, but not a lot lighter tbh), DT Swiss PR 1400 Dicut 21 (though the non-Oxic version seems to have vanished from their website?). Not a whole lot of choice out there tbh :-(
@@abhattal Thanks. Sadly Campagnolo has discontinued production of many (if not all) of their lightweight aluminium racing wheels. Replaced by carbon disk.
So much innovation and beautiful designs.
Thanks, Dave! Good stuff.

It’s a shame Darimo is so difficult to work with. Takes forever to get products, and the purchase process is not at all intuitive.

I'll agree with that statement ;) - dave
budget. 1000 euros. wheels. 😭
yeah, I know. The last alloy rim wheels I got, Fulcrum Zeros were €700, and they were top end. How ties have changed - dave
