So, here's what I think is going on: 4 loyalists meet at the grave of their fallen military general or leader, Jackson. They perform a ritual to resurrect him from the grave. They equip him with enchanted armor to give him strength to perform an even harder ritual. As they pass through the forest, their combined spiritual energies literally cuts down trees. They reach their final destination, & begin the final ritual. This ritual is harder, and requires sacrifice, so the 4 loyalists give their.lives for Jackson to complete the ritual, & the woman is resurrected. (I've heard some say that this is based on an ancient Chinese love story where the man never got to confess his feelings to the woman, so he brings her back just to ask her of she felt the same.) Jackson and his betrothed dance together, but only for a short time, as the ritual's power is fading. Finally, they embrace each other, and Jackson ends the ritual, and they descend into the afterlife, together...

I love the fact that you loved this, I could totally relate to your enthusiasm. I am mesmerized by the wholesomeness of "100 ways". I almost cried when I realized he comes back to life so that he could find her resting place and rip together. That was heartbreaking.
I'm so proud of him, I don't know what to say anymore. He tries so hard and he always gives his best and I wish he knew we are always proud and ready to support. Either way: thank you for reaction!
As soon as I saw the video, I knew I needed to see your reaction to it. Jackson is a global star for real and I can't wait to see his future unfold. #teamwang
Jackson just keeps getting better and better. I love all of his music but when I heard Bullet to the Heart I thought it was different and phenomenal. I'm so so glad he stuck with that style because now 100 Ways is competing for favorite song from him.
As a wuxia/zanxia (tv and film) fan this MV feels so familiar - it carries so many visual elements from those genres, and the colour palette in the scenes with the girl surrounded by maple leaves are so redolent of Ang Lee and Yimou Zhang films. I love how the handwork not only serves the narrative (ie casting spells ) but as you pointed out, also becomes the cue for light and scenery changes. I think the MV is brilliant and adds so much to the meaning of the song.
That sound kept playing in my head since I heard it. It's just one of those songs that get stuck in your head and you had to listen to it again at least once to get it out of your system. And the MV was so so creative and beautiful.
One of Jackson's best features is his passion and the way he naturally wears his heart on his sleeve. It makes his acting even more believable, that it doesn't even feel like acting, just like the way he performed in Oxygen and Bullet to the Heart. In both mv's he's in emotional turmoil and you can tell he feels everything he put into the songs, especially at the end of Oxygen when he cries. I hope one day Jackson stars in a short film or a longer drama, perhaps even a trailer mv for one of his albums just as GOT7 did for their Flight Log: Trilogy stories. So far my favorite Jackson mv's are this one, BTTH and Oxygen. Their stories are just so deep and you can see how Jackson allows himself to be vulnerable and show us his inner most thoughts. In conclusion, I am so proud of Jackson Wang and his team. His art always connects with us so deeply and I am thankful he shares it with us. Thank you PD for the awesome review! No matter what you say, your feedback helps the boys grow.
Thank you so much for praising Jackson pd, this man really puts 100% of his effort to show different sides of him. And I do agree that Jackson has the capability to go global in fact he's slowly getting there, I can't help but be proud of his growth everytime he releases a new song. This man is unstoppable and he keeps getting better and better every damn time. This mv is insane with an amazing choreo and Jackson's voice match this so well. The team behind it really knows how to visualize and makes this a total masterpiece. Lastly, he's a total package, the world needs more of him.
An extremely artistic style choice from the director and team working with Jackson, and it definitely paid off. I was not expecting such simplicity and elegance combining to produce such powerful imagery that complements Jackson's stage performance so well. Great job analyzing it as well and 10/10 for the review.
Yes this mv was incredible. the camera movements with the choreo?? *chefs kiss* also the transitions and lighting and really everything was on point 👌 it really added a whole other dimention to the song
my theory for this video is that jackson and the woman are both dead but ended up two different places. jackson rose form the grave and those hand movements the samurai/soldiers were doing at the beginning allows them to ressurect him. jackson then finds the woman he loves and raises her then travels with her to where she ended up after death. also, the fact that jacksons grave was in a place dark, sandy, sooty place and hers was somewhere extravagant shows how they could've ended up in totally different places.
The MV really makes people enjoy it the song more, looking like a movie with extremely perfect visuals Appreciate how you appreciate Jackson as a person and an artist
This is my first time seeing you react to something. I Have always seen you in my recommendations list for years but I never clicked because for some odd reason i wanted to wait for a perfect mv for me to see you react to and when Jackson came with this mv I knew this was the one. I am finally here young man; sorry it took me this long to click on you but I wanted my first time with you to be special and magical and I think this mv was perfect for bringing me to you, wouldn't you agree?
The more you watch it, the more you see. Note the rings on the ground around which the four sentries are standing. The gestures appear ritualistic; as they complete the ritual, Jackson rises from the ground. The ritual is repeated and Jackson's lover appears. They are reunited and return to the ground as a couple. This is an epically beautiful MV!
First of all, let's appreciate this man for appreciating Jackson and his art... He's not like other people who only looks on the surface and doesn't dig deeper. Man I stan 👏
Since Jackson watches reactions to his songs thank you for all the beautiful words and support. It's so important that he knows how much people appreciate his talents and hard work.
I was waiting for your reaction yay! ❤ I loved this video and song! I agree with you and I feel like he is in a competition only with himself, because he gets better and better everytime he releases a song/video!!
He inspires me so much... Like, he’s totally amazing in every aspect, he has a great golden heart, is so talented and has a lot of skills. He’s such an angel
I don't know what it is, but when I watch these videos watching PD reacting and enjoying things or noticing stuff, etc, just makes me smile. I don't know why, but it just makes me feel warm and happy watching PD enjoy the stuff they react to.
Jackson's continuing partnership w/ the Kinjaz is definitely helping to elevate his choreography to new height. From a dancer's perspective the choreography in the beginning section was so well done & helped the one-shot section a lot.
The director for this music video (Daniel Cloud Campos) also directed Bullet to the Heart and Panic! at the Disco's trilogy of music videos (Say Amen, This is Gospel, and Emperor's New Clothes) and through these you can totally see his style which I feel like you don't see often in this industry as you tend to have to be adaptable and I love him even more for it. Definitely one of my favorite directors.
The very first time I saw this video, I knew I wanted to see your reaction to it. The camera work is beautiful, the concept is so simplistic but it’s SO beautiful. Jackson posted that they had to throw this together quickly and I honestly would not believe it because it’s so incredible.
Form of Therapy his exact words on Instagram were “we had limited time and it was very challenging but we managed to pull it off” so taking that into consideration, it’s even more incredible
That's exactly what I felt when it ended. I was like damn that is way too short. It leaves you wanting more. It's that good. You just have so many theories for the story in your head. Great job on the sound, lyrics, choreography and mv as well. I sure will have this on repeat for a long time.
What I love about the song and Jackson's voice here is that it's very much a pop song you would have heard circa 1983-86. His voice echoes that of Sting back in the day when he was in The Police with "Every Breath You Take" or the guys in Tears for Fears in "Everybody Wants To Rule The World", it has that quality.
I watched it last night and when I was watching it, I kind of kept on getting goose bumps especially when the chorus would come in. I have to give a massive round of applause to the dancers because they were absolutely fantastic. The music video was beautifully shot and you felt like you were watching a movie.
Bullet to the Heart was my favorite Jackson mv, but now 100 Ways is my favorite. The meaning behind the mv (more like a movie) was such a great concept and it's deep. Most his mv's you can interpret it a few ways and it's so creative. Just SO proud of Jackson. It's like with every song and mv, he keeps improving and it gets better and better.
Thanks ur reaction... Yess thats Dope n epic. Jackson can be a actor.. he can acting n he has actor visual 🥰.. i agree thats very short mv n we need more longer The hands movement i just remember bout ninja n naruto 😍

100 WAYS and Bullet To The Heart were directed by the same director! Both amazing mvs!!!
because he is jackson wang 💁🏻♀️
The MV really makes people enjoy it the song more, looking like a movie with extremely perfect visuals
Appreciate how you appreciate Jackson as a person and an artist
Petition for jackson to star in a drama
Omg Jackson so amazing! This song is so great!
I am just waiting for ur reaction!🙊
Thank U❤
Jackson is so damn perfect
I LUV HIM
This is my first time seeing you react to something.
What I admire the most in this MV is the work of the camera. The subtle movement that follow or compliment the dancing. So creative!
Jackson Wang is one of those artists who really speaks through his heart with his music videos
First of all, let's appreciate this man for appreciating Jackson and his art... He's not like other people who only looks on the surface and doesn't dig deeper. Man I stan 👏
One of my favorite reactions to 100Ways! Thank you! 🙏🏼 Hands in the air 🙌🏼 to Jackson and all Jackys! 💕
My kink? People losing their absolute mind over this mv. #100ways is gonna make Jackson Wang a household name. IT"S ONLY JUST BEGINNING!!!
I've been waiting for your reaction! Also the best video I ever seen!! Jackson really made it!!!
Jackson is hands down one of the most talented artist out there. I'm stunned. 🤯❤️
When he said “it’s so cool” and Jackson answered “it’s true” HAHAHAHAHA a good coincidence
WHAT? QUICKLY???
I was waiting for your reaction! Love this song! Love your reaction!
I love the fact that this MV can be interpreted in so many ways. It’s absolutely brilliant, great job to everyone who worked on it.
Thank You for loving 100ways too! I dont know how to explain but I love it so much & Jackson deserves the recognition , hope he gets it !
Yesss thank you for reacting I knew you would love this one. Such a great song and video 10/10 across the board!
This is my favorite Mv of Jackson's. He's amazing. I need to see him in a historical drama.
whoever choreographed this needs all the awards, its so satisfying and fits the song so well
Felt so short! EXACTLY my reaction! And this is such an incredible earwig! I love this SO much!
your analysis is so dope👌
I watched it last night and when I was watching it, I kind of kept on getting goose bumps especially when the chorus would come in. I have to give a massive round of applause to the dancers because they were absolutely fantastic. The music video was beautifully shot and you felt like you were watching a movie.
This gon be my fav reaction of Jackson
the story behind this video is amazing I love it
love the reaction
I really fall in love of this video and I can't stop seeing it
I’m a simple girl. Whenever I see Jackson, I clicked.
The best reaction as always!
the Jackson moves, for some reason, feels like animation, just the way his movements kind of ''bounce''
The video indeed felt so short that I want to see more. Beautiful song and music video
Im so excited that you reacted this. I absolutely love this mv, its really creative and so well done in every aspect.
I was WAITING for this, I knew you would appreciate this as much as I did omg
omg!!!! is so good to watch you really liking the video direction... jackson made a truly masterpiece with this mv
Bullet to the Heart was my favorite Jackson mv, but now 100 Ways is my favorite. The meaning behind the mv (more like a movie) was such a great concept and it's deep. Most his mv's you can interpret it a few ways and it's so creative. Just SO proud of Jackson. It's like with every song and mv, he keeps improving and it gets better and better.
the video is amazing, one of the best MV I've seen
thank u so much 💯
Thanks ur reaction... Yess thats Dope n epic. Jackson can be a actor.. he can acting n he has actor visual 🥰.. i agree thats very short mv n we need more longer
The hands movement i just remember bout ninja n naruto 😍
Tbh this is the only reaction I finished. I usually end the video after the reactor finishes the video. Very articulate, insightful, and (surprisingly) therapeutical. Sir, you just earned another follower. :)
Thank you, if possible you made me love it even more! Plus I love how much you love it and you how much it makes you speechless 😂❤️
Got7 and Jackson are always coming up newest and dopest things when it comes to music and music video. Like they are all creative as hell and they are showing to the world how to be original and dope. No matter what if u stan Got7 or Jackson, u have a good musicial taste mate
When I think of an artist who works hard to improve themselves and genuinely enjoys what they do, I automatically think of Jackson. I applaud him
There's something about this song...omg I just can't stop listening to it...simply love it. ❤❤❤❤
I was waiting for your reaction to this, glad you like the MV just as much as I do, it's honestly so amazing, the first time I watched it I felt mindblown
I agree he is definitely the Asian artist with the highest potential to really break through to mainstream America's market and thrive.
Jackson's 🔥🔥,his music is 🔥🔥and for all that he is .. thank you for acknowledging and appreciating him . ♥️♥️The reaction
Im so excited for his solo career. Both for his representation, and how he's helping to develop the culture. Shotout to the Kinjaz for being there for our boy.
