I love MDS engines. I had an MDS .78 2stroke with MACs tuned pipe on a Global Kwik Fly. It would take off straight up and just keep going. Loved it...Hahahaha,.....Thanks for the flight Capt Blaz...
iggi i have one more MDS 40 at home...i just love russian engines...and i have two diesel MK 16 and MK17 at home...and a few others....i have obout 60 engines at home....
Blaž Petrinčič Yeah but what would power my piper, you know I am a 4stroke freak also. Maybe you have another 4 stroke as exchange. But remember the FS90 has some pre-ignotion problem above 9k rpm even with low nitro fuel. No idea why.

Those old balsa airplanes are heavy, a OS .40 LA wont move it at all. That MDS .48 is powerful, excellent powerband, took off in a few feet and pkenty of punch to get you in and out of trouble. That was some hot landing, just let it bleed out...! 😆 Awesome video
That sounds like the MDS I used to have on my BIG STIK 40...I could hear it echoing in the quarry...I remember I could lay on the elevator of that one and just balloon it to the ground...Get you some loops, stall turns and barrel rolls Capt. Blaz, have some fun...Your just like me, my knees knock and fingers shake until I get settled...Oh Yeah!!!
Seems like mine was slow to idle down to grease the landing...What plug and fuel do you use on that MDS??? One time, It seemed like it was coming in too Hot and I kept going out further and further, then a tree reached out and got it...Terrible sound...WACK!!!

If you listen, there at least two places you hear the Echo, very well. My ear calculates the best were from the closest wall and the very complicated measurements made me Google Slovenian food. Nice flying, Captain Blaz!

Have never seen that type of glow plug.. was an accumulator and leads the last time I used a nitro plane. Can we have an inverted low pass next?
