My tactic was to always keep moving away from the action and shoot from afar, only get close when there’s less enemies. Also stay as far away from shadow troopers as possible and look out for them, they will sneak up on you. Hope this helps anyone trying to complete this mission on any difficulty!
Thanks for all your videos; super helpful. And thanks to your tip in 2:17 to drop down in the path behind with the circle drawing, I actually dropped down even further to a ledge behind that. From there I was able to shoot all enemies to the left or right and none could get to where I was. Beat all waves like this.
@@3000KJH I've done that myself. I know the feeling. I completed Survival on Tatooine today, on Master. I got killed 6 times and I was on my last life. The session lasted over an hour. It took me three days to get it right. It's a nightmare, but it's doable. Keep trying.
OHH yeahh, did this at 1st try after a week of failure. I felt I died too often and used all my lives and had two personal shield charges left. Finally :)

Really helpful videos, got master on all missions now and got ackbars elite and on the ball achievement by following your videos. Subbed, thanks for the tips! Just to add something, there is a better way to complete this. Where you usually wants to start theres a ledge more to the left of the map which you can jump down to, if you stand there you can do this without dying and without getting drop pods, it's a pretty sweet spot but it's narrow so you have to be careful so you don't fall down.
Thank you so much for this, this and Sullust are by far the worst two maps, no cover, lots of at-sts, just overall terrible. This guide is definitely gonna be a huge help

@@drystannelson3031 i found that shadow troopers just cant fire at you if you are far away. Also just chuck grenades and headshot them and they should die pretty fast
I completed this one on Master by just staying on that ledge after wave 3. It has an indentation that when crouching offers complete cover as needed. I didn't bother with the pods. Just my {rapid firing} Blaster, Jump Pack, and Ion Missile. I left the perch only at the end of a wave if I just absolutely couldn't entice a Trooper to come within my kill zone. And I would lure Troopers to my position by jumping up and down fringing my Blaster up at them according to the red on the mini-map. Adjusting the vertical position of my blaster to my jumping height in relation to the target I killed many Troopers that way to! It was cool. Learning how to Jet Pack off the ledge successfully was my biggest challenge. But if one doesn't crouch when fighting AT-STs they can step on you. Also if you kill an AT-ST that is right above and facing you when it's killed it can fall off the cliff and take you with it. It might have been tedious, but I finally succeeded and got all the Stars!
2:24 Most people probably already know this, but there's a similar hiding spot at the back of the map. All you have to do is just go into the cave beneath the shuttle and keep backing in and to the left. Eventually, you'll come across a collectible, and that's pretty much where you need to hide. Now, enemy infantry can still get to you, but the walker will keep going around you and awkwardly stare down at you. You can take 'em down from there.
Btw, there is a little cliff below that ramp you're referring to. You don't get stuck, the enemies come to either side and make easy targets and you can still fire on the AT-ST with the ion rocket. I made it to 11 and I accidentally jumped wrong and fell off, but I could have made it to the end very easily had I not done that. Your videos have been a big help completing these. Thanks.
two achievements left to get. all missions on master and top kills in blast. beat hoth on master but the other three survivals are a pain in the ass. havent tried any of your tactics yet but watched the videos and cant wait to try the tactics. definitely subscribed!
+NGinCortex rather easy. do survival on hoth. theres a room directly across from the outside opening. get a blaster cannon (from a drop pod) in that back room facing out. everyone comes in front of you. dominates storm troopers. when the AT ST comes out, get off the blaster cannon and just be cautious
Great video, If anyone gets stuck on hoth, go to the end of the hanger and there will be a small room, using a blaster cannon, shoot anything that comes through. Works 100%
I finally had to look for help. Been trying to beat this on Hard without spending a life to unlock using a custom hand and have my sniper paradise whenever I get the itch. I’ve been using a similar strategy with doing circles but get trapped sometimes with two AT-ST or my luck a guy sneaks up on me.
Pretty much what I managed to come up with on my own, but I did eventually manage to complete this map and it was nice to know I wasn't just doing something all wrong. If I can add one thing that changed everything for me it was try to have an Orbital Bombardment ready for the third and forth AT-ST waves. If you let them come at you, you can plop it in front of them in their path and one shot them. If you're lucky like I was you may even kill a bunch of soldiers running along with it. Then it's just a matter of avoiding the one of them while you take out the storm troopers, which is much more manageable.
These are good videos and very helpful. I don't know why I am just finding these in May. Also, once got two AT-STs stuck under rocks at once. Don't ask me how I did it because I'm not even sure.

Got Yer Back Gaming hey same! I was camping on sullust down by the cliffs you said, there were 2 at-st's left, and one dropped down onto me and I got crushed. It was only wave 9 though so no biggie. Since then I completed sullust with all lives remaining :-)
I finally managed to do it. And of course about 2 hours after my mate found a cheese spot. At the very edge of the map, just back and right of the cheese spot he used for the AT-STDs. There is a little rock sticking out just off the cliff. You only fall about a yard or 2. There are 2 little sticking out sections but the closest is out of bounds. Go further right from the AT-STD cheese spot and you should get it. AT-STDs stand above you but will never shoot, just be careful they don't fall on you when you destroy them. Most of the soldiers will stand where the AT-STDs stood in Got Yer Back's cheese spot. The others will stand on a segment of ground directly if you're looking at the ridge. Thermals can't hit you because behind you is a cliff. Enemies can't get a clean shot. AT-STDs can't get you, like I said. Jump troopers aren't a menace on their own but they can't get you. If you walk further in you are completely safe, even from jumpers, so you can retreat when things get crazy. Enjoy. If anyone on PS4 can't find it I'll show you.

Just did this and there was an AT-ST with 3 foot soldiers left... I used an ion grenade and it took out the AT-ST and a random guy, then a cheeky little shadow trooper rapes me with his boomstick, and a jump trooper finishes me off... Could have won if I had a shield charge left.
These master missions are atrociously hard to get. I also tried your strategy of hiding behind the wall after I lured the 2 AT-STs to the top and one of them flanked me after probably 5 minutes of waiting for ION power-ups had went and blew me the hell away. Not exactly a fool-proof tactic. I literally got to Wave 15 and got spawned into the whole group of heavy gunning Shock Troopers, rocket troopers and Biker scouts and got nailed. So freaking frustrating. That is over an hour of my life that I won't get back...these don't even feel like accomplishments, they feel like cheating the system with "all this running around....I prefer a straight fight!".
I had this before and had to keep changing my strategy every time, until I kept running trying to keep those AT-ST'S separated, and deal with them one at a time. Also when it comes down those Storm troopers who walk around like they are Superman, treat them like zombies, you can take them out from the foot up the body, but mainly go for the head, if you can, takes them down every time.
Have you ever had the AT-STs get stuck on the environment? Saved my butt on this level several times - especially if I was able to get behind them! I have yet to finish this one on Master, though. Gotten frustratingly close quite a few times.
wow, this game can be a jack a$$, i found out you can go in the tint, but the disappointment part about it, those soldiers can shoot straight through it, like wtf, i thought i was safe

The only guns I am good with is the E 11 Blaster Rifle and The Rebel Rifle the one you have. Any other gun I use I always get killed faster. I guess everyone has their own gun styles. They seem to have different skill base to them.
There actually is a much easier way, near the village area there is a small ledge that you can jump down, nobody can go there and when you move back a little they can't even hit you...it only takes a very long time to complete the level because theres only one location where you can shoot them
+Michael Travers There is a ledge where you can jump down..basically they're only able to hit you from one dierection except you hide...at-sts are also absolutely no problem, they usually stand above you and cant shoot you
+Michael Travers just walk alon the ledge and at some plate you should see this platform underneath you, it's inside the maps boundaries....simply junp down and wait, with the jetpack you're able to jump back up to the map to finish of the occasional one guy left! it's close to one of the collectibles

The Shadow Troopers? Look out for the silhouette. You can just barely make it out. With all infantry, I aim for the head because that's where shots do most damage.
Have to say I'm a little disappointed. All your other videos break it down and tell us how to beat each bit. This one tells us how to beat AT-STs when there are no soldiers about

I died on round 15 with an AT-ST left...I can't even handle this anymore!
I keep dying near the end. The latest, I got to wave 15, and the AT-ST was on me, so in a panic, jetpacked off the cliff.

I love that A280C blaster, too! A blaster with a decent fire rate, good range and hefty damage is the best in my book.

How did you deal with Shadow Troopers? I'm more inclined to stay the hell away from the open since they nuke 75% of your health outright.

If you hate shadow troopers play rebel depot on master they one shot you
That’s the problem, if they headshot you on Master you die instantly which is sooo annoying

I actually died by the Walker there, it was a good spot to take care of the troops but not the walker

Blaster Cannons have been working for me on master mode. Hopefully this works on this map. I set it up in a small cave.
Tatooine is the only map that you can really run around on and survive in the 4 core survival missions.

this is a really good tip but when you upgrade a star card it doesn't carry over to survival missions
with sentry gun and blaster cannon, i would just go to a spot that i know they can't come from behind, and plant them and just wreck them

It happened to me today, then I played again a few hours later and I got the survival, the Master trophy and the Platinum trophy on PS4.
