Are we missing it??? Yes, I've often asked myself that. And I too have a difficult time giving someone money and then leaving them to their circumstances. I have brung strangers home to live with me even as a single parent, but stopped at the advise of a Pastor that said that I was endangering myself and my children by doing that and I needed to stop. But I still offer my space when I see it needful. I really want to be a true worshipper and yea that doesn't mean just in song. I can offer worship unto the Lord from my heart and soul as He alone is worthy, but unless I worship Him with my life-- my song will be a noise unto Him; a nuisance and not a praise offering. Smith saying that worship needs justice..right on,, JESUS said to worship in spirt and in truth.. what was JESUS upset about when church people neglected justice and mercy and GODS faithfulness..worship needs justice... if it doesnt have that its not worth anything to GOD, and ur viainly singing..u might as welll become a catholic..but maybee u have enough sence to not pray to Mary..
There is no vain anything, it is constant prayer that was commanded by God, you can't just interpret the bible and take it out of context, the same book put together by the Catholics

JESUS takes it serious when u sing words u dont do or dont mean because ur children are watching u too.. and they will get the message that u can say things that u dont really mean.. its vain when u sing a song of worship and u dont even understand what u are singing.. that why when unbeliveres and aethiest if they come to ur church they can sence something is not right.. thats just not justice..because JESUS said they that worship must worship in spiirt and in truth.. if u are singing we lift up holy hands.. then u need to lift up ur hands for real and make shure ur hands dont have guilty works an evil deeds..if ur hands are unholy then u need to not lift up ur hands and pray silently while the song is goiing on untill they do a different one and ask GOD to cleans ur hands and make u Holy. if u cant wroship according to the song.. then by all means dont try and please everyone to give lip service and make people think u are right with GOD,u will displease GOD.. if u cant worship according to the truth of the song being done then u need to pray to urself before GOD ask for GOD to forgive or help or whatever it is u need to pray. it wont matter if u pray standing or sitting but dont sing what u arent doing and dont believe, but pray rather and if u cant pray then u need to goto another church!!! NOONE is teaching this but its the truth. when u dont worship with a whole heart but u still give lip service u are not doing ur church any favors by decieving them. GOD already knows a reall man of GOD will apreciate that he can tell where u are spiritually. most all churches now a days are soo far from true worship and they dont even know it..
