Dr. Martin was most definitely a modern day prophet. Like the prophets of the old he was rejected by men, misunderstood and even ostracized by associates within his own organization. Guess there Judas's all around us. This brother could have held public office or even could have been a mega church pastor, professor or anything. But he chose to do God's will, sacrificing it all. I once heard a story about a DJ who decided to play a passage from on of the Doctor's speeches in the middle of his set. The crowd stopped, listened and then applauded. MLK could move an audience to a higher moral stance and deserves to be remembered and loved by all who claim to care about the world we live in.

One reason I so love this Baptist preacher is that he was imperfect. When people bring up his affairs and such I just smile and say that God is glorified in His saints, and all those saints have many imperfections.
If affairs are true..Folk throwing the affair stones at him don't know behind closed doors.. if Martin went down on his knees, and repented from his heart to God, for affair ,and asked God for forgiveness.. From the bible Look at David's track record.. But David always repented from the heart to God for forgiveness.. God forgave David.. Only God knows the heart and mind of man and judge righteously.. One of them( dont know the exact wording) is about dreaming that his children would someday live in a nation where they are judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I might not as yet agree with CRT, depending on the devil in the details. But I feel like Dr. King's sermons and philosophy ought to be taught as part and parcel of Patriotic education, and Character education, in America's schools. MORAL EDUCATION is important now more than ever. America has not had a better moral voice than Martin Luther King, Jr. By the way, he was a close friend of Billy Graham, perhaps closer than JFK.
