With Desert Eagle doing 1,400 damage with no perks, it only 1 shot heads a zombies at Wave 13 at 1,391HP. Adding Double Tap, Brings the damage to 2,400. one shot headshot at Wave 18 with 2,241HP. Now adding Deadshot, with a 35% increase on headshot damage. Putting a good damage of 3,780 Damage, to oneshot a Wave 23 zombie at 3,608HP.
I love to see peoples takes on the deagles damage and ammo capacity in games. Mini side-rant here, but the Desert eagle mark XIX is the model used most commonly in games. By replacing the barrel, you can chamber different ammunition. These being .357, .44, and .50 AE. And because the gun in the game has only 7 rounds, it should be chambering the .50 caliber round (50 AE). BUT, it does less damage than the revolver despite the fact the revolver looks like it takes the smaller .44 magnum/ .357. If the deagle had 9 rounds, it would make sense, as it would indicate it would use a smaller cartrige. Just a little nerd session, don't worry. I still think update is good. I just like talking about this stuff because it's fun to inform others.
as someone mentioned, deadshot and double tap on this map also would make it do more later rounds.
