Kasepuhan Cipta Mulya which is administratively located in Cipta Mulya Village, Sinar Resmi Village, Cisolok District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java Province. Kasepuhan Cipta Mulya is a traditional community that is part of the Banten Kidul customary unit.
There is a principle that is reflected in the use of headbands for men and the use of cloth for women. And also manners while eating.
I will also share a tutorial on how to use the headband
Here, there is nothing bad about all the food here, even fried food tastes really good. I'm more and more curious about the secret. The kitchen will be my favorite place while here.
I will let you Know to peek at the cooking methods of Kasepuhan Cipta Mulya residents in the traditional way using firewood which is the secret of cooking that tastes better than using a gas stove or an electric stove.
Indeed, at first glance the food menu looks simple but the enjoyment is outstanding.
I also wore a Kasepuhan Cipta Mulya uniform, and was invited to the ritual Room, peeking at the activities of the high school students who were participating in the Homestay program, seeing how to make woven Simpai bracelets. Very exciting.
Meet our new friends from the Baduy tribe. His name is unique Sahari. Friends here used to call him one day uncle. Uncle Sahari also offered me his merchandise, all of them original handmade products.
I also had the opportunity to witness the traditional wedding rituals of the Kasepuhan Cipta Mulya residents. I also followed the process of making Dodol so I could try the young Dodol as well, fresh from the pan
Before we eat with the dodol cake. we also carry out the ritual of eating Dodol.
The experience during the homestay at Kasepuhan Cipta Mulya was very memorable. Our last night was closed with the Jaipong dance which is one of the traditional dances of West Java Province.
